Some Labour MPs must be feeling a little fragile and vulnerable at the prospect of Brown staying until the election. Desperation must be setting in at the prospect of getting thrown off the gravy train and I am sure they believe it is still worth getting rid of him even at this late stage. Brown seems to have sold his soul to the devil in giving in to the demands of his ministers and is even less credible now as PM.

Mr. Cameron will soon occupy a unique place in history. He’ll win an election with a tiny majority when competing against a Government who have as much chance of winning as Alan Johnson’s Botox Consultant.
