Quote of the Day

Comrade Hundal says

“Class War remains an electorally viable strategy because … it highlights wedge issues Labour needs to advance to narrow their defeat…”

What the bloody hell is that supposed to mean appart from defeatism?

It means that whilst Mr Hundal would never want an election based on what colour of skin your parents had, he’s right up there for an election based on whether your parents had a well-paid job or 2. Filthy, filthy “privileged backgrounds”, dontchaknow.

I hear it’s called “being left-wing”, i.e. “I champion new methods of group division and hatred against the nasty old methods.”

      Simplez.

I would happily read Bob Piper, or , less happily,Bob Roberts come to that. I think Norfolk blogger is a good blogger and Cramner a good writer.
Dave’s Part, despite being almost suicidally Marxist has very well reasoned, if faultily concluded posts. Tom Harris is an entertaining socialist, Tom Watson isn’t, but still makes some valid points.

Yet, despite the charitable feeling I have to bloggers everywhere, I can’t see anything that Sunny Hundal writes as something other than pointless student union politics members bickering over whether they should ban the oil companies or the royal family first on their list of hated oppressors.

I thought that Sunny Hundal was a cheap Korean car.

        Correct me if I’m wrong.

One gets the impression Mr Hundal has an enormous chip on his shoulder.

You might like to read the Devil’s Kitchen take on Comrad Hundal. He suggests that Sunny really would like a race war, so why not give him one.

    What’s a wedge issue?

Since when have we taken any notice of that wanker?

Do we really think that this ‘class war’ thing is anything but a ruse to solicit a reaction from Conservative supporters… a diversion chaps, nothing more.
The real fight (the nasty one) will commence soon…

Labour’s Lords won’t like it up ‘em.

    T. Nuck says:

How can nu lab criticise the wealth of Tory MP’s when the vast majority of Nu Lab MP’s have made millions out of politics Eg The Blairs, Prescott etc whilst making the 2 million spongers who couldn’t be bothered to get a job over the last 13 years wealthy whilst stealth taxing and making poor everyone else ….. VAT goes up in 48 hrs and so a fuel will go from £1.09 a lt to £1.20 that’s really going help industry or 85% of all cars sold under the car scrappage scheme come from Korea.
No doubt there will be loads of young Nu Labs running around in top hats calling the Torie’s Toffs for the next 6 months but I for one would rather see something a little more constructive because lets face it the country is in a bit of a mess!

Aw, this was a really quality post. In theory I’d like to write like this too – taking time and real effort to make a good article… but what can I say… I procrastinate alot and never seem to get something done.

Maybe if they really wanted to “decontaminate the Labour brand” with business people, they shouldn’t have totally buggered up the economy?

Just a thought.
