Zac Ducks Tax and Claims CAP Subsidies

Tax ducking, bed hopping Zac Goldsmith is in hot water. Guido  promotes and pursues the minimisation of taxes, but it is a bit risky for a PPC seeking public office.   Zac says he hasn’t profited from non-domicile, that he volunteers more tax than he needs to and he gives oodles of cash to charidee.  Nevertheless the reason Goldsmith shouldn’t be allowed to get away with this is his rank and blatant hypocrisy.

If he had been a long term advocate for lower taxes, then his stance would be understandable.  Zac has done quite the opposite, he wants more taxes, ridiculous and unpopular green taxes that would cripple car drivers and frequent flyers.  How can someone who keeps his fortune sewn up in offshore trusts credibly in all conscience author a report calling for taxes to increase?  How green is the EU’s Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) from which his farm receives thousands of pounds in subsidies from the taxpayer?  Without a hint of irony he will tonight give a speech in Piccadilly on the subject of how to share our collective wealth.  Will that include sticking it in the Caymans?   Clearly taxes are for non-environmentally-conscious people.

      first class. unbeatable.
let’s face it all dave’s talk of new toryism is a load of shit innit. zac is just another in a long line of evasive tory tax dodging c’unts; he is just like that other tory dodger ashcroft. what is wrong with these people? zac is all talk and no trousers.

All these rich folk jumping on the bandwagon of global warming makes me very sceptical. Wondering if it is a big con just to make us all think everything we have is rubbish so they can make oodles more money convincing us we have to buy lots more green things. All made in China of course and using up more of the earth’s ever depleted resources so adding to more global warming.
Why don’t they just replace all the trees they have destroyed and stop making so much. We can adapt to buying less but can they adapt to making less money?

Greens hate people but love eugenics says:

Trees, over their life cycle, emit as much carbon as they absorb.

CO2 is harmless and essential for all life on Earth.

According to the IPCC CO2 levels have been rising steadily since 1989, yet the Earths average temperature has been going down since 1999.

Environmentalism has been hijacked by an extremely rich world elite, who see it as an eternal money making bonanza.

46,000 elderly people in the UK died, because they could not afford to keep their homes warm last winter ( Google: sharp rise in winter deaths).

Did any environazi, like Zac, apologise for that crime?

          • Gordons favourite Butt Plug says:

There is nothing wrong with Co2. Plants quite like it.

It is not linked to Global Anything. The Parts per Million are still well below the historical averages.

We are now looking at a cold hard winter. The BBC and Met office in collusion, after trying to freak us out about a barbecue Summer, are now declaring a ‘Mild Winter’. What tosh.

It will be very cold. Very cold indeed. Just does’t suit their tax gathering message, and propaganda.

The BBC need to be Privatised very quickly to stop the rot. How the bloody hell does the Marc Thomson justify is 4x PM wages? Hoon.

          • Barry Walters says:

“46,000 elderly people in the UK died, because they could not afford to keep their homes warm last winter.”
No evidence that the extra winter deaths are caused by people not being able to afford to keep their homes heated. This is another con, liked the green one.
It is probably due to the British habit of not wrapping up warm to go shopping etc, getting cold, then getting a blood clot due to poor circulation.

          • Gordons favourite Butt Plug says:

Helps cut down Co2 output, and reduce pension obligations.

Government concerned about the deaths in Winter? Er no.

You’ve only just worked out that green taxes are a con, of course they are.

Now let me see, you want to stop air travel pollution. Do you

          A) Build more runways to allow more flights?

          B) Tax air travel more?

You want to curb vehicle pollution. Do you

          A) Give money to car vehicle manufacturers R&D dept. to speed up fuel cell development thereby elimination vehicle pollution?

          B) Increase Road Tax to an extortionate level?

Here’s a clue, answer A) sorts/reduces the problem, answer B) generates revenue in the form of tax. Also 2A has the knock on effect of dramatically reducing our use or fuel and thereby dramatically reduce our payment of Duty & VAT.

I could go on but it gets boring. Also what happens to these green taxes, I mean it sounds lovely, just like when they set the NHS up and funded it with NI contributions, but how much of NI is ring fenced. Road Tax, fantastic idea, I mean it’s only fair that motorists should pay for the upkeep of the roads that they use. Oh but wait a minute, how much is actually spent on roads? Just 20%.

They used 9/11 & 7//7 to give themselves powers to spy on us and control us, they’re using climate change to mugs us for more money under the guise of green tax. There’s no need for them all to fly to Copenhagen, they could video conference it, but you don’t get entertained, nice hotel, big meals, sight seeing and duty free that way.

Rajendra Pachauri, the chair of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), warned that western society must undergo a radical value shift if the worst effects of climate change were to be avoided. A new value system of “sustainable consumption” was now urgently required, he said.

“Today we have reached the point where consumption and people’s desire to consume has grown out of proportion,” said Pachauri. “The reality is that our lifestyles are unsustainable.”"

Argument based on authority is a logical fallacy.

A distinguishing feature of scientific thinking is the search for falsifying as well as confirming evidence. However, many times in the history of science, scientists have resisted new discoveries by selectively interpreting or ignoring unfavorable data. In the context of scientific research, confirmation biases can lead to theories or research programmes persevering in the face of inadequate or even contradictory evidence. Particularly if money and reputation are at stake.
