An opinion. As of 1st December 2009 the Magna Carta becomes an irrelevance as the traitor Gordon Brown signed the Lisbon Treaty, and that’s when it becomes UK law. It over rides all UK laws as and when required to subjugate the British.
But some reckon it’s illegal under EU law. Should be fun.

Let me get this right – there was not sufficient time to bring the Post Office privatisation to Parliament but amazingly, Mandleson thinks this up in July and the bill is before Parliament by November.

Have you actually read the bill? There is the provision to introduce measures based on “technological developments that have occurred or are likely to occur.”
That is to say, if someone promtes a technology that sorta works, tit could be made law & opps the technology doesn’t work….. what happens then? We have law based on vapourware!
Also what happens to the rights holders who miss identify infringers? Nothing. So why shouldn’t they just make IP addresses up? Nothing is going to happen to them. No “wasting police time”, no charges sure some money (but it’s chicken feed) and if they hit some infringers all to the good as far as their concerned.
