I think you have missed the point entirely – of course there are jewish terrorists, palestinian terrorists, christians, muslims etc etc no-one is pretending that there isnt. The point which i will try to make clearer for you is that there are a lot of people in this ‘great’ country of ours who still choose to believe that jews (or muslims or christians or any other sect for that matter) are responsible for everything that is wrong and bad with the world. No-one is saying that Jews are better or worse than anyone else…but time and time again Jewish people specifically are slated with the same age-old (absurd) anti-semitic slurs which only exacerbates the divides between communties. By choosing to ignore this or sweep it under the proverbial carpet (as u appear to be doing) you are as guilty in your thoughts, as a terrorist is in his or her actions. Get off that fence you’re sitting on and speak out in favour of liberty free from fear or prejudice.

The root of the verb l’hallel (to praise) is Hey-Lamed-Lamed, whearas the root of Elo-him is Aleph-Lamed-Hey; and Yah is contraction of the tetragrammaton. Hallelyah is thus not remotely etymologically linked to either Allah or Elo-him (which are inded loosely etymologically linked to each other).

I think Peter Obornes programme was awful, CFI is a very honourable organisation and has every right to act as a lobby group for Israel in Parliament.
As Cameron says, it is in the DNA of every Tory member to be supportive of Israel

I think that a the most accurate test regarding strength of the British-Israeli lobby has to be the results it achieves. And looking at this, you would have to assume that it largely fails in its role. Britain remain pro-Palestinian, and tend to side with Hamas- a certified terrorist organisation- when they are clashing with Israel. All this is in the wake of this countries ‘war on terror,’ and the fighting of international terrorism.

You see, this is the sort of crap that gives decent jews a bad name. As soon as someone suggests some of the jews are not fine upstanding people, out comes a torrent of abuse and accusations of anti-semitism. Its no secret and its based on actual evidence, many jews are nothing short of murdering terrorists, same as many palastines, same as christians, same as muslims. Anyone notice a trend here?

I’m afraid jews are no better or worse than the rest of human kind, get over it.

Hmmmm.

Anyhoo, it’s quite important that a very right wing Israeli lobby does not dominate British politics at the expense of more thoughful views from that country and indeed those more thoughful views amongst British Jewry.

To that end I’d recommend that these pro right Israeli lobbyists call themselves something more accurate like Friends of Right Wing Israelis, rather than Friends of Israel.

There is much concern for example that their activities and methods may not be in the long term interests of Israel, and even of Zionism.
