Guys, it isn’t socialism if taxpayer money is paid out to corporations.

It’s politicians with corporate connections, which a lot of the labour party has.

It would be socialist if ALL business was state regulated. Instead we have our taxes being paid out to PRIVATE corporations because they can put pressure on the government.

I’m not saying a soviet state is ideal, but the division of wealth and power is unbalanced in favour of a CORPORATE elite, not a state one.

The state is still incompetent though.

You are missing the point. It is a form of mass socialist education. Each course I am doing this semester could be retitled “Race Relations” or “Gender Relations” without the title becoming incongruous. Everything is istism, ismist, istist, or ismism. After 12 years in the state system the kids lap it up and regurgitate without a thought.

Some of us mature students have deliberately started going out to promote right wing views just to see how far we can push the twats. They don’t like contrary views it panics them………

Not many here shouldn’t be on a degree. Then again I attend one of the better red brick uni’s.

Absolutely correct on all points,however it has always fallen to our trotskyite lefties to organise riots in opposition whatever the cause.Their only real outing under Labour was the anti-capitalist rant for the G8/G20 summits.I well remember the poll tax riots and the student union leaders who took a major role in fomenting unrest.The race riots were led here in Birmingham by community “Leaders” but all were socialists
