On a different subject, conservativehome is reporting that McUseless might go for a 26th March GE, so he doesn’t have to put a budget together.

I have to say it does sound like one of his more sensible ideas.

          • IN LIKE A LION - OUT LIKE A LAMB says:

Yep the sooner he goes the better for us and for him.

March makes sense, the economy just out of recession and the tax hikes not yet fully kicked in as they would be in May.

The Toris and Liberls are no better. I would like to see a new party formed who are dedicated to wiping out the Westminster and european Gravy trains and put Britain first. The only way to stop their troughing is to vote the whole present lot OUT and replace with new uncontaminated blood.

        Skippy says:

Problem is of course that New Labour are in a win win situation. Had they done anything at all to address the greivances of the elctorate, they would looose the GED by a small margin.

The are dishonest and have no shame, not to mention selling our democracy to a foreign power. But they know that the more angry the electroate are with them, the more fragmented will be the vote in a GE. A vote spilt between UKIP, BNP and Indepdents. That, and a bit of imagination with the postal votes may very well get them elected.

Dishonesty and treachery rewarded will be my guess.

If Gordon was to drop dead today. Would cast iron Dave, William Hague, Tony Blair and Peter Mandelson all LIE and say what a jolly good fellow he was, or would they tell the truth that he was a stark raving bonkers useless chump?

And would the nation go into mourning or would a week of public celebrations be declared? and who would be the new PM?

Nice one Guido, but your reporters should also be asking Nulabour about their party’s shameful, treacherous past dealings with the Kremlin, as refered to in your list of “Seen elswhere. How the Kremlin hijacked the labour party.” Some of the people involved in this sleazy, disloyal episode are still holding positions of power.

If anyone has ever doubted that communism and marxism lies at the heart of labour philosphy, they should read this article and weep at the way labour kremlin stooges have tried to subvert the values of this country.

Has just closed down. This trust built up by a the father of someone I know assists people in the Tidworth area including many soldiers leaving the army after serving their country. This has now been lost to all and the reason for its closing is the loss of government funding…..Thanks to Labour and Gordon Brown.

The result also is that 17 people have been made redundant by the Head of the Trust. When he had done that he then made himself resundant as well.

        This is an scandal !

    • 38
      An explanation says:

And you have touched upon the crux of the matter – this has been brought up by Guido before and indeed do a google on GB and Apsergers and there are hundreds of results.

Look up Aspergers on Wikipedia and take 10 minutes to read it.

Then look at the D Mail article about the meeting Brown had with the daughter of a murdered father yesterday – everything fits.

Then watch yesterday’s Afghanistan speech – it fits

The evidence is colossal – the man leading this country is unfit to govern the local council Parks Committee, let alone a country.

Gordon Brown has a psychological inability to communicate with people – he has some form of condition which means he is unable to have any sort of empathy with anyone – he simply cannot speak with anyone in what would be termed normal conversation.

      I know this may be an elephant in the room,but Brown shows so many classic signs of AS;

1.)lack basic elements of social interaction
2.)a lack of social or emotional reciprocity
3.)impaired nonverbal behaviors in areas such as eye contact, facial expression, posture, and gesture
4.)social awkwardness called “active but odd”
5.)hand movements such as flapping or twisting, and complex whole-body movements
6.)more likely to have sleep problems, including difficulty in falling asleep, frequent nocturnal awakenings, and early morning awakenings

How can this be allowed to happen – it must be the British psyche that allows it to happen – politeness and a bizarre deference to power.

Shame, cos this could be the best reason for Brown to be removed from power.

        Autism is no joke says:

My eldest son has Aspergers and both myself and my wife commented on Brown being a possible sufferer as soon as he was made PM in 2007 and the intervening period has simply confirmed that view.

However some “Aspergers” (which is towards the “high end” of the spectrum for Autism and mainly but not exclusively affect males more than females)are hardly noticeable and prior to the 1980′s when Dr Lorna Wing and others were doing pioneeering work on diagnosis sufferers would have been classed as “shy”;”awkward”;”geeky” or “rude” etc. However a significant proportion of “Aspies”, those at the high end or extremely intelligent and on occasion just short of “savant”(my son actually has a PhD in political and international relations)and have photographic memories which can be coupled with obsessions regarding various topics.I know of one sufferer that had an interest in “vacuum cleaners” for example and could recite every model since they were manufactured. In certain areas such as those that require repetitive or mundane tasks – “Aspies” excel whereas others can occupy quite senior jobs within government departments in advisory roles etc.

However sufferers suffer from very high anxiety states and panic attacks which require medication etc and several, my son included, suffer depression self-harm or attempt suicide. They also have difficulty in social interaction and suffer bullying from a largely unsympathetic group of people within society.

On your final point that should not preclude anyone,Brown included from being PM but obviously in these days of 24/7 news and persoanlty cults it’s difficult for anyone suffering from Aspergers. Incidentally Einstein is thought to have been an Asperger.

I personally wish Labour to be voted out of office because of their policies and the way Brown has bankrupted us but as someone who has lived with Aspergers for over 25 years I can tell you that it is an affliction I would not wish on anyone Brown included,if he has it, nor their familes and neither would I use a possible medical condition against him or anyone.

Hopefully, the above is a more complete explanation than just looking it up on “Wikipaedia”

      Engineer says:

Perhaps the really sad thing is that the murder of Gary Newlove should not have happened.

Probably many of us will know of examples – some quite persistant and serious – of hooliganism and anti-social behaviour, which, when reported to the police, meet a response along the lines of “thanks for reporting it, but there’s nothing we can do”. I have several friends and aquaintances who had exactly that experience. No responsible adult can think of dealing with it themselves, for fear of an assault charge.

      Both those things are wrong.

For a society to be civilised, and for people to respect each other, behavioral limits have to be taught. In the not-too-distant past, those limits could be taught by a responsible adult giving a misbahaving teenager a thick ear. There are no more “bobbies on the beat” so they can’t keep an avuncular eye on the local goings-on, or act to prevent someone going off the rails. Nowadays, they can only turn up after the event to mop up the bits – and deal with a much more serious outcome. Or arrest the responsible adult who tried to protect themselves or somebody else.

Where did we get it so horribly wrong?

    I Have a Dream says:

Sarah, Sarah, wake up. That strange dream continued when I went back to sleep.

I returned to that airfield in the Wiltshire town I did not recognise where the plane marked with a strange blue eye with a red pupil had landed.

As the cargo doors opened, a conveyor belt came down and boxes were unloaded from the plane. They were all marked “Humanitarian Aid for the UK”, and they bore a flag that I did not recognise, with a black, red and green stripe.

Then all the boxes burst open and I saw men, women and children. Some were wearing military uniform, others wearing robes and Islamic dress. I saw a young couple in their wedding finery, I saw old men and women. Their clothes were all torn, burnt and bloodstained. Many had parts of their bodies missing. There were babies with no heads, men and women with missing limbs, heads and limbs with no torso. I could hardly look. Then another box came down the conveyor belt marked “Spare Parts”.

I could not look, and turned to the soldier next to me who wore thousands of medals and ribbons and said ” This isn’t a scene from Thriller”. He said to me “No, it’s a scene from Killer”.

Suddenly all these frightening figures rose into the air in a swirl of smoke and turned to me and stared at me with an angry expression on their faces. The soldiers turned their weapons towards me.

I said “I must go now”, and looked for my Prime Ministerial car, but could not find it. I turned round and started running. But the faster I tried to run, the more I was pulled back to the horrible scene, and the silence turned to wailing, moaning and crying which got louder and louder.

Go back to sleep darling, it’s only a silly dream.

    • 25

      Good, but not true.
We all know Gordon doesn’t sleep. Sarah told us so when she was holding his hand to introduce him to his Party. If you watch that bit again you can see her roll her eyes as she says it. The implication seems to be he is a messy, destructive robot.

        alistewart says:

I have just started looking at the whole issue of fostering from an economic perspective. A carer can earn over £1000 per week, virtually tax free. This is the basic allowance, topped up further by holiday pay, birthday and festival allowances. for example

        http://www.surreycc.gov.uk/sccwebsite/sccwspages.nsf/LookupWebPagesByTITLE_RTF/Allowances+for+foster+carers?opendocument

There are then further allowances in relation to NH and pension. After this there are significant other benefits available, some means tested in relation to Respite care grant, Family income supp. household benefits package, homemaker’s scheme, free travel scheme, national fuel scheme- the list is endless, bit of a minefield.

It’s a career option, and one I would not personally wish to take.

What worries me is that large parts of the process are now administered by the third sector, which has all but developed a ‘market’ for carers who are in such short supply. I do not know at what level public funds are signed off, but in a situation which must be largely chaotic, fiscal abuse would be easy.

There is of course a ‘market’ too for new-borns. As kids get older they are proportionately less desired, particularly if male, however you can imagine the demand for brand new babies.

        Just a thought

“Indeed, some historians now claim that it was the responsible economic management of Callaghan and Healey in the late 1970s, as much as the early policies of Margaret Thatcher and her Chancellor Geoffrey Howe, that put Britain on the path of economic recovery”

This comment shows how Labour despise Thatcher yet admire her by trying to rewrite history and get some of the glitter dust. The country was utterly screwed in 1979 , bankrupt and a jobs disaster are all due to Labour. They have done it again but this time in spades

I was there and saw it but we made the one error of leaving Labour destruction partly undone. DON’T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE AND WHEN IT COUNTS FINISH THEM OFF TOTALLY AND COMPLETLY THIS TIME OR YOU WILL LIVE TO REGRET IT

Our troops are not fighting and risking their lives, for bugger all, as you put it. They are fighting and dying so that global corporations can reap the benefits of a pacified Afghanistan.

“In 2002, the US Geological Survey published a list of more than 1000 deposits, mines, and occurrences in Afghanistan to confirm the country’s wealth of mineral and hydrocarbon resources. Among the minerals found in abundance are gold, copper, iron, mercury, lead, and rare metals such as cesium, lithium, niobium, and tantalum. Tantalum, which is also known as coltan, is a rare element essential in the manufacture of cell phones, computers, and digital cameras. Lithium is necessary for high-tech batteries, specialty glasses and ceramics, and for some high-performance metal alloys. Niobium is used in steel alloys.”

Every day brings more evidence of the insanity that passes for democracy, and yet still the media’s reportage of events bears resemblance to the parable of the Emperors new clothes. Is it only us kiddies that see the nakedness in the court of power? Are they frightened to look openly at the full frontal figures that wave their collective genitals at us,in terror of the full truth of absurdity being reflected on them?
Half the population chooses to avert their eyes from the spectacle that performs daily on the stage of westminster, and yet poor ticket sales doesn’t dent the box office receipts that flow through the performers scripts.
Another day in the asylum, with no prospect of a release on compassionate grounds

On another note altogether, does anyone know what happened to Dolly Draper’s psychotherapist status. I recall that the BACP were going to make a statement regarding his membership/fitness to practice six months ago ? Is there any news on this ?

you’ll have to wait. The Labour paid rapid response re-bummer group don’t work weekends. I’m sure they will give you a satisfactory and truthful answer once the council offices open again next week.

Actually, of course, there will never be another election. Gordon Brown has failed in his 50-days-to-save-the-world claim, so we perhaps have another 6 or 7 weeks to make our peace with the Universe!

Oh well, I’m not sure humanity is worth saving: I just hope the cockroaches manage to struggle on. (Of course, some of you may have seen the latest on climate science – the MIT Professor who has shown that CO2 is six times less effective a greenhouse gas than has been assumed in all the current, in any case very dodgy, computer models. I wonder if this will be discussed in Copenhagen??).

Rememberance Sunday tomorrow. Time for the Labour Quislings to put on their annual ‘I love Britain’ mask.

Perhaps Comrade Straw can lay a wreath of white feathers for all the conchies that refused to fight. After all, ‘They also served that did bugger all’

Milliwatt can lay a wreath for all those who fought to try and bring Communism to Poland and Eastern Europe.

Thanks for the reminder. Must get a wreath from the florist. Is that still ok on exces or do I have to put it down as stationary?

    Copenhagen here he comes! says:

Perhaps Brown is so anxious to go to Copenhagen because it is a well known place for Russian dead letter boxes – he needs to get updated instructions from the Kremlin.

Who would have thought it…..the British Prime Minister being a spy.

Expect to see Broon wearing one of these at his next press conference. It would be to see him getting a metal spike stuck in his head.
