Lord Mandelson of Foy couldn’t afford a house next to Baroness Thatcher in Chester Square. Roman Abramovich and Charles Saatchi also have their London pads in Chester Square, Belgravia.
As usual, a Tebbit comment strikes home. Just imagine, for insatnce, what Mandelson’s presence nearby would do to house values (all those late night “parties” and the like).
