Nick Griffin, echoing off-the-record Labour minister’s attacks on military leaders, today attacks “Those Tory generals who today attacked the British National Party should remember that at the Nuremburg Trials, the politicians and generals accused of waging illegal aggressive wars were all charged — and hanged — together.”
“Sir Richard and Sir Mike fall squarely into this bracket, and they must not think that they will escape culpability for pursuing the illegal wars in Iran and Afghanistan… These two gentlemen are Tories who have seen the traditional Conservative vote in the army, from private level up to senior officers, dissolve away and turn into BNP votes”.
What Griffin doesn’t seem to get is that on Thursday he will be under the spotlight and he will, Guido suspects, fall apart, live on national TV. His biggest ever platform will fall away from under him…

Retired they might be, but I’d still put my money on men who understand honour, dedication and servitude. Griffin knows absolutely zilch about these men he is not good enough to stand in the same room with them. Afforded of course the freedoms he enjoys to spread his bile by these men and others that came before them.
They do not deserve to be in the same room as Griffin as at least he has spoken out against the illegality of the Iraq invasion rather than blindly follow orders.

When you vote in a general election you vote for two things the most important of which is your choice of government. With an independent you delegate that choice to the independent candidate.
What will he choose to do with that proxy vote? Who fucking knows? He certainly doesn’t because he is independent and therefore has no policy except what he makes up as he goes along.
You need to know what the proposed policies of a government will be. How else can you decide?

The nazi generals at the end of the war pleaded that they were only following the orders of the lawful government, the principle that the generals are not entitled to offer that defence was erected and accepted at the Nuremburg trials.
Our own generals are complicit in the waging of an illegal war, our generals knew full well what they were doing when they blindly followed orders to wage an illegal war and an illegal occupation that led to the deaths of hundreds of thousands of innocent people.

The Nazis were not tried at Nuremburg because they complicit in waging an illegal war but because they committed war crimes.
Whether the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq are illegal has never been determined and it is not for serving officers to second guess the decision of an elected government of a democracy. They executed their duty, and within the terms of the Geneva Convention, so any comparison with the Nazis is contemptible.
The fact that this comparison comes from a neo-Nazi is supremely ironic and that it is parrotted by prissy anti-war posturers only demonstrates why this naievete is manna to both the extreme Left and Right.

The generals knew the international laws of war. They knew that to launch an invasion against another sovereign state in any condition that is NOT self defence from IMMINENT attack is not only a war crime, but it is the SUPREME war crime.
It had NOT been established that Saddam was even a threat to our country, let alone an IMMINENT threat and the UN resolutions (1441 in particular) did not have ANY autimacity to the use of force as the Security council found when Blair spectacularly failed to get the second resolution.
Iraq’s attempts to comply with 1441 was hampered by the United states. They DID comply with the demand to hand over a complete record of their weapons capability. Unfortunately the US insisted that Iraq hand that information to the US, who proceeded to remove most of it (including the embarrassing parts detailing how much WMD the US provided in the 1980′s) and then it was the US who with-held a majority of that disclosure from the UN thus causing a technical breach of 1441. The US breached 1441, NOT Iraq.
The French wanted to give the UN Weapons inspectors a few more months to finish their investigation as per Hans Blix request. At this time the UN inspectors were telling any media that would listen that they were getting unprecedented levels of help and support from the Iraqi authorities. Intelligence analysts were telling anyone that would listen that there is NO evidence of a retained WMD capabilty anywhere. They complained that they were sent to investigate definitive and multiple source credible claims of labs or factories or stores, only to find unused buildings, still with thier UN seals on, or craters where buildings used to be, or just big piles of dirt. NOT ONE claim stood up to scrutiny.
Containment and inspections were working and Iraq was NOT A THREAT during that time.
It was known that Saddam was NOT a threat. As indeed the original draft of the “dodgy dossier” clearly stated (Iraq is not a threat to us, or even her neighbours) until a Mr Alistair Campbell chaired a “presentation” meeting with the joint intelligence chiefs where that same information was edited to remove caveats and insert unfounded, allegations to make a report about this non-threatening nation create “45 minutes from doom” headlines in the media.
Campbell was right. They did NOT sex-up the dossier. The level of blatant deceit, lies and outright fraud goes way beyond “sexing up”.
The unaccounted for stocks, that we were endlessly warned about, were, in reality, a figment of the UN’s imagination resulting from a mid 1990′s thought exercise in which the UN decided to calculate what the theoretical maximum possible production capacity of the Iraq factories and labs was. They deducted the known and destroyed stocks from this imaginary figure and this became the unnacounted for stocks. THEY NEVER EVER EXISTED!!!
Even IF they had existed, they were known to have a shelf-life that had already expired by 2000, rendering the entire stocks inert. Therefore the laws of chemistry, biology and physics made clear that IRAQ WAS NOT A THREAT! They had NO WMD! NONE!!!
Now if I as an ordinary joe (that reads a massive amount of news from all over the place) could know with 90% certainty that Iraq was not a threat in 2003, then these Generals MUST have known, for sure and it has been revealed to me since that the top-brass did indeed know… It is their business to know their enemy in extreme detail.
This means that these Generals did agree to launch a war against a nation that they knew was NOT posing a threat and certainly not an IMMINENT threat. This means that they knowingly breached the supreme war crime of launching an illegal invasion.
They are war criminals and are not fit to lick Griffin’s boots!
There’s no such thing as an illegal war – all the talk of the same is misguided Norf London lefty bollox and is really annoying. War is about the exercise of power not legal niceities- it always has been and always will be. After all, can the British, Romans, Turks, Persians, French, Vikings etc expect to be sued by peoples they conquered in the past? Of course not. Here is the problem. If the panelists on QT gang up on him, he wins – bullying. If they allow him to speak, he wins because he gets his point across. If all they discuss racism, holocaust etc, he wins because he gets his point across. If they discuss general politics, he wins because he will raise issues such as immigration, British jobs for British workers, deportation etc which Labour are already undertaking… Littlejohn in the DM today did a good piece on this. I don’t envy Dimbleby on Thursday and I don’t envy the rest of the panel. They really need to be controlled and balanced else he is going to come out of this with far more votes than he went in with. The Home Office admitted the illegal immigrants should have left the country more than six years ago but could still be here.
Officials have launched a trawl of the cases to try and find them and remove them from the country.
Every file will be checked against police and terror lists to see if they present a risk to the public.
The deeply embarrassing revelations are the latest scandal to hit Britain’s immigration system in recent years.
Officials are still working through the cases of foreign prisoners who were not sent home after finishing their sentences, and the backlog of asylum claims. They admitted they had stopped actively looking for 85 former inmates who could not be found after a three-year search. These files will now be transferred to a “controlled archive”.
Sir Andrew Green, chairman of Migrationwatch UK said: “Yet another skeleton in the Home Office cupboard. Tens of thousands of case files lying around and the true situation covered up for years on end. This is symptomatic of the utter chaos in the asylum and immigration system during the past ten years. Nobody in the private sector would get away with such a performance.”
Details of the trawl were included in a letter to MPs from Lin Homer, chief executive of the UK Border Agency (UKBA). She told the Home Affairs Select Committee most of the cases were from before 2003 and there was “no formal record” of the immigrants leaving. In some cases, further action might not be possible, if the individuals cannot be found, she said.
“In the last few months we have begun the process of reviewing these files to consider if any further action is necessary or possible,” she said. “Where further action is required it will be taken and any cases which may be considered as harmful to the public will be prioritised.”
Three years ago, then Home Secretary John Reid said the immigration system was “not fit for purpose” after it emerged 1,019 foreign prisoners were released without being considered for deportation.

The B&P do not have to win seats to be a force. They already have 10% of the vote in the European elections plus various local offices. If we have PR they will also have a national electoral mandate. The LibDems and Labour are both considering PR.
In any event they don’t have to win seats to influence policy, just take enough votes away from Labour to force change upon them ( like UKIP and the Conservatives ). If Mr Griffin had any data on the voting intentions of the Armed Forces he would be eating his poorly chosen words. The Armed Forces are a meritocracy, we employ and promote personnel based on merit alone and nothing else. We are not as representative of our society’s demographic as some think we should be, but we are not a bunch of Neo-Nazis either. As for your argument about past immigration, Britain has never had immigration at the scale and speed of the past 30 years. Assimilation takes decades and longer. Why even our more established immigrants are deeply troubled by the nature of what is happening in their towns and cities.

Actually, what Griffin says in public is pretty tame compared to what i often hear in the pub – although, nowadays, such things are said sotto voce for fear of ending up in front of the beak.
I often wonder if the real reason the BNatP is so reviled is because it says the things that many people actually think but dislike themselves for.
If I could wave a magic wand, ensuring that no-one would be hurt, I would like there to be significantly fewer immigrants in this country, particularly from cultures that I view as alien (and particularly of the variety who make no effort to assimilate).
However, I am a bit too squeamish about the methods that might have to be used to support the B&P (and I don’t like their other socialist policies).

How can this Gov’t deride the B&P’s repatriation policy, when it is exactly the same as their own. Try it, compare them, they are word for word the same.
Where we are at now, is that we have target driven diversity, resulting in positive discrimination, probably the most divisive mechanism ever conjured, tacitly subscribed to by all the main party’s and playing absolutely into Griffin’s hands.
The reality is this: the British people are much more relaxed and sensible about race, colour and ethnicity than their politicians. Generally they are concerned particularly about merit, in terms of entry here, access, contribution. Here, we are still quite good at fair play.
So, to concentrate on perceived racism then ignores too many other policies that Griffin espouses. A significant part of the electorate is not prepared to be deviated by this demonisation, when so many other parts of the B&P plank do find sympathy. The voters will not reject the B&P necessarily on that single issue. It becomes less repugnant by the day as Griffin sanitises the offering, and no more so than the war in Afghanistan, the bankers bonuses, Parliament’s sleaze- there are plenty of single issues.
If Lib/Lab/Con continue to ignore the other parts of Griffin’s posture they will do so at their peril. Yes, he is not stupid, nor are the voters.

Because they disrupt, in my wife’s experience, as a nursery nurse in a primary school, the progress of the many. The closure of the segregated schools has forced severely diabled kids into mainstream classes that are totally unsuitable. They upset the majority and cannot be catered for properly to satisfy the parents’ vanity and the wishy washy liberal agenda that drags behaviour and standards down and demoralises staff. The ability not to be able to make moral judgements on behalf of the many and not the few has disadvantaged many able children and done diadvantaged children no favours in the process either.

There are some studies suggesting that special needs means special needs and that assimilation for political correctness, do gooding or costs cutting reasons helps no one. I have a little tiny bit of personal experience and have seen things go sadly wrong.

There have to be options and parental choices. Special schools or mainstream. Whatever is best for the child – the choice MUST be made by the family.

The reason for the upsurge in the support for Griffin is that our political system is failing. Too many of our money grubbing MPs are divorced from reality and have lost touch with real people.
The upcoming generation will be just as bad as they have rarely had a non political job before entering politics. The party system makes it worse by interfering in the choice of candidates within a constituency.
As a former employer there are few of the MPs I see on the TV that I would be prepared to give a job to.
Once they are elected to Westminster they are controlled by party machines so that they say what is politically correct and any divergent opinion is punished.
The sytem needs radical change, and until this happens the disaffected voters will vote for people they think understand their needs.

PUPPETS“I was outraged! Spin and deceit are things we expect from Labour politicians and not the Defence Ministry and this is most unprofessional.” This was the reaction of a high-ranking officer in the British army who today contacted a leading figure in the British Shsss Party after hearing the interview between Nick Griffin and Martha Kearney on Radio 4´s World at One today.
According to Martha Kearney, Radio 4 contacted the MOD to ask about Mr Griffin´s claim on TV news earlier in the morning that the army chiefs themselves had called for a limit on the percentage of foreign soldiers, who are not British citizens, serving in military units. She said that the MOD had stated that this was the case only in three specialised units for technical reasons and that they had no concern over potentially high proportions of foreign soldiers in the army in general.
Quote: “This is a downright lie,” our source informed us. “Last year the MOD published a memorandum discussing the issue. In addition to the question of specialised units, I clearly recall my delight when I saw that the paper spoke of maintaining armed forces which are ´predominantly British´ and which reflect the ´cultures and values´ of our nation.”
In other words, like so many people in Britain today, the military top brass say in private what the British wotsit Party says in public: “out of control, mass immigration is a threat to British culture, identity and the cohesion of key institutions including the British army.”

So close are the links between the Nothing British operation and the Conservative Party that the B &P will tomorrow morning be submitting a formal request to the Electoral Commission to investigate the group over the possibility that its requests for donations involve a breach of party political funding law.

Some random thoughts on free speech and political extremism.
Free speech is truly precious, but is sometimes unpalatable. One reason that free speech is so important is that views like those of the Toytown Nazis can be unearthed, subjected to proper scrutiny in full sunlight, and be rejected if found wanting.
Why do such views take hold? Because there is a reason, however flimsy and misplaced, for them to do so.
The media storm condemning the Toytown Nazis seems to contrast oddly with the reaction to the 7/7 bombings, and the reporting of the reasons behind them. It is hard to judge which is more dangerous to British society and the British way of life unless both, and perhaps other issues linked to immigration, are properly and sensitively investigated by the media.
Lancing a boil might be painful, but ignoring it to develop into a suppurating mess is much worse. The proper investigation of the Toytown Nazis is happening, but the reason for their existence is perhaps not being investigated quite so thoroughly. It may be more difficult to find proper, moderate, tolerant British answers to problems the longer they are left uninvestigated.

What nobody seems to realise is that when Nick Griffin makes a comparison between the British Army generals and the generals of the Wehrmacht, his comparison is intended as a favourable one. The man was trying to pay a compliment.

The Wehrmacht generals allowed Hitler to take Germany into a war that they knew would ultimately be lost, and absolved themeselves of any responsibility. When things were going sweet, they were happy to take the rewards and when it went sour however, it was every man/general for himself.
Our generals re-organised the Army to fight small scale interventions, cut equipment, reduced/abolished units and then allowed Blair to involve the Army in TWO wars – for which they were neither equipped, nor organised. Where was the criticism of labour policy when the wars were first mooted? They absolved themeselves of any responsibility. Again when things were going sweet they were happy to take the rewards and again when it went sour it was every man/general for himself.

This is not Turkey and the British Army is puny – smallest since 1913 or thereabouts at which time it had been whipsawed by the Boers and was about to be denounced as ‘contemptibly little’ by Kaiser Bill. Those who use military titles in retirement to play party politics are dragging the Army onto the political stage for party ends. I’m fed up with all this talk about brave generals. Broadly speaking generals rarely find anything dangerously inbound at their Whiehall desk other than a bollocking from a government minister. The truely brave are those on the front line and most of those, are junior ranks. junior ranks who are being let down by the political classes who are selling out to Europe to enhance their job prospects.
Labour, Tory or liberal, they are ALL the same behind their thin veneers, this is why thereis an opening for a political party offering a different direction.
Generals may not be “brave” in the sense they spend their time getting shot at, but then again that’s not their job. A modern Brigade or Divisional commander is responsible for co-ordinating the actions of several units spread over many tens of square miles. Try reading Roy Urquart’s own admission that he made a major mistake going right forward during the battle of Arnhem. He admits he lost sight of the bigger picture and control of his division at a crucial moment in the battle. He admits that in doing so he was failing in his job as the division commander.
You also have to remember that generals become generals by starting as lieutenants. Mike Jackson served in the Parachute Regiment with active service in Ulster. Richard Dannat was in the Green Howards and also served in the province as a junior officer. Whether they were particularly brave I know not, but since that was the only shooting war most of the British army got to see at that time, I think we can assume they faced their share of danger.
Any Generals Out There Will Be A Good 30miles From Any Action Anyway

Did it fail? It retreated from Mons because the French on their right fell back exposing thier flank. It withdrew in good order and fit to fight again. Subsequently the BEF held Ypres and helped stop the Germans taking Paris. For a seven division formation in a war involving hundreds of divisions I’d say it did pretty well.
Ill-equipped – it was armed with the best battle rifle of the age and some good artilery and MGs. That the shells were disproportionately shrapnell was an oversight brought about by the belief that warfare would be mobile rather than static. The lack of grenades and mortars also reflected this belief and the fact the politicians failed to supply enough money anyway.
Ill-trained? It was the only fully regular army to take the field. Most officers above Colonel had fought in the Boer War and thus had battle experience.
Run by Cavalry officers in an artilery age? Well, French was a cavalry officer as was Haig who commanded I Corps. The commander of the Cavalry Division was also a cavalryman. Of the other two corps commanders one was an infantryman and one was from the Royal Artilery. As far as I can tell, all six infantry division commanders were from the infantry. Without wasting too much time it seems like the principle staff officers came from a reasonable mix of cavalry, infantry artilery and engineers.
For a small army trained primarily to fight small colonial wars and starved of funds I’d say the BEF of 1914 punched well above its weight compared to the conscript armies of France and Germany. As for being contemtible, the troops of the time obviously knew different otherwise they wouldn’t have recognised the back handed compliment and adopted the name with pride.
Oh and as for generals being cowards, the commander of II Corps was one of three Lt Generals killed by enemy fire during the conflict. 3 may not sound a lot, but even in 1917/18 the BEF only ever had about 20 three star commands.
The rise and rise of the BNP is another symptom of a corrupted political class.
