I spent a night in Redditch once. 82 maybe? All a bit hazy, I think I was nutted on mushrooms. The Inland Revenue will chase you from arsehole to breakfast time if they think you have been overpaid by the Tax Credit system. Even though it was their mistake the onus is on you to prove that you took the money in good faith.
As an individual without access to the formula which calculates how much you will receive that is not easy.
Buried deep in the mountain of paperwork that the IR send will be an award figure,but even that figure changes depending on what bit of paper you read.
Thank god I keep all paperwork and have my wits about me.

Yes. The committee is pretending to believe that she spent more time (ie total hours in the week/year) in London even though she went home more nights that not to sleep in Redditch.
So Smith is clearly claiming that although she spent (say) only three nights in London during the week she actually spent more than half of the total available hours of the week (ie more than 1/2 of (24×7)) in London.
And that’s why I claimed I was living with my sister. And on that basis I claimed a shit-load of cash.

I have a theory why these thieves are all getting away with it – its because they are all at it. Now as a normal person I get my day in court my crime failing to tell my local council my wages went up I did tell them but not in writhing my hours went up a whole 2.5 a week that’s £15 a week extras shame on me and failed to tell them I got a couple of extra hours work and the fact I failed to shoe wage slips 3 charges
I told them but I was late telling them so that means I am charged with 3 counts of fraud lucky me now if I was a mp or such no charges
