The implications of that phrase are breathtaking but no matter. It’s such an incomprehensibly specious thing to say that it is hard to give it anything other than speedy dismissal. Britain has exactly what it deserves. For a population with a serf mentality, bowing and scrapting, as they do, what do you expect? Do you really think that those who have titles and power derived solely from DNA are going to have anything but contempt for a population hidebound by deference and shackled by sycophancy?

For God’s sake, do you know what the House of Lords is? They are NOT elected and some of them even have hereditary peerage. Square that with democracy, can you? We talk of taking twenty quid a week off those who have least and willingly give an extra 19 million a year to a family whose troughing makes the mafia look like amateurs. That’s why Britain is as it is. You can wave your flag for Tory, Labour, Liberal, whoever you like. It will make not difference because Britain has no democracy whatsoever.
