Note that Winston Churchill suffered from a mental illness so having one doesn’t preclude a person from being Prime Minister, but it should still mean that they are checked as to whether or not the illness does affect their job.

I don’t look down on people because they’re alcoholics, drug addicts, chain smokers, etc. I feel sorry that they were sucked in to a way of life that causes such pain to themselves and others. We all suffer difficulties in life that we must overcome, we learn that very early in our lives, and know that drugs will only exacerbate not help the situation.
