More along the same lines of lies, damned lies and ZaNuLab lies: BBC reports: "The Scottish Government has been forced to scrap plans for the £120m Glasgow Airport Rail Link amid concerns over public spending cuts. Holyrood ministers said they had £500m less to spend as a result of Westminster efficiency cuts. Labour said the level of cash in the pot would actually go up by £600m." LOL! The link is HERE.

I might be able to help you with your sums.

We will soon be 1.4 trillion quid in debt or 1,400,000,000,000 quid.

A pound note (the Jocks still ave ‘em is about 12cm long or 0.12 metres

so 1.4 trillion pond notes would stretch 0.12 x 1,400,000,000,000 metres

=168,000,000,000 metres (168bn metres)

Or 168 million kilometres.

Distance to the sun = 150 million kilometres.

So if Gordon Brown has borrowed enough money to stretch all the way to the Sun. Where they would burst into flames. Which is exactly what he did with ‘em here but without the need for space travel.
