I support your general thrust, but on this one:

“He’s (Gordon Brown: Ed) ok at criticising everyone else’s policies, but when you ask him for his own, the cupboard is bare.”

It’s really the opposite problem; Brown can think up a shite worse-than-useless policy at the drop of a vote, and then he’ll back it it to the hilt until forced to reject it.

Examples are the 10% tax band that he introduced and then abandoned a year later, and then many policies that he was thankfully forced to abandon before they were implemented; the latest one on CRB checks, for example.

My thoughts exactly. We will either get more Labour destruction after the next GE (unlikely) or new Tory destruction (very likely). Either way, I hate them all and hope a way can be found to execute a lot of them currently ruining everything, imprison the rest, burn down the Houses of Parliament and start again with the average man in the street as King.
