Of course it’s not beyond imagination that any of the Labour MPs with law degrees have any knowledge of Scots Law, or access to people who are very knowledgable on the subject.

Having held discussions with Libya, Blair, Straw and co. would never have thought to investigate any avenue to release Megrahi in the hope of improving UK National Interests.

MacAskill was sold a pup by Straw, used Scots Law to free the ‘dying’ man – why was the prison doctor the only medic to examine Megrahi? – and let the Westminster politicians off the hook.
