Guido very much enjoyed reading the Geoffrey Wheatcroft broadside at the Cameroons. He complains that “the party of Pitt and Salisbury uses the vocabulary of the criminal classes”. It is a marvellous attack, deriding Cameron for being downmarket. Just goes to show, one man’s toff is another man’s “unprincipled bounder”. Hope they dig out Perry Worsthorne for more of this sport…
