Sir Ian Blair Spinning Exoneration
Ian Blair, who resigned under a cloud as Met Police Commissioner last year, has put out a press release claiming that the unpublished report by the Inspectorate of Constabulary into the awarding of more than £3m worth of Scotland Yard contracts to a friend, Andy Miller, clears him. Not so fast copper…
James Cleverly, Tory member of the Metropolitan Police Authority, has blogged in response: “The Authority now wishes it to be made explicit that its decision, as recorded in the minutes of its exempt meeting, does not amount to an exoneration of Sir Ian Blair’s conduct.” Watch this space…

It seems that once you have the name Blair spinning, lies and dodgy deals are second nature.
And I applaud Boris for booting him out but it cannot have escaped his attention that the Met seem to be in a constant state of chaos and infighting at the top with Met inquiries becoming more predictable and numerous then Bendy-Buses.
Time to crack the whip Boris and sort it out.
(If you can keep hold of a deputy long enough to do so that is)
Apparently the helicopter that “crashed” in Afghanistan on Monday with the loss of 7 lives was contracted to the MOD and not Nato, why all the secrecy?
It is knackered belly popper.
whats it about the name blair lad ?
I had the foresight to drop it
Wouldn’t mind getting both Blairs in front of my foresight.
2 blairs for the price of 1? Now there’s a bargain.
Only if you’re selling them. Free would be too expensive to buy these ratbags.
Sir Ian Blair confirmed in the media that he was ‘sacked’ – preceded by ‘media sleaze and innuendo’, varying and conflicting accounts of ‘wrongdoing’. Shortly afterwards, the unprecedented Zanu style police raid was authorized on the parliamentary offices of an ‘opposition MP’ and a (reportedly) terrrifying raid on his family.
The Officer in charge of the raids which brought public outrage was given Sir Ian Blair’s vacated seat.
Sir Ian’s treatment can be likened to the mindsets and behaviours of a ‘banana republic’. His pension’s probably ‘under threat’ if he appoints lawyers to challenge ‘trial by media innuendo’s’.
He’s apparently held in very high regard and has an enormous amount of support.
Sir Ian Blair confirmed to the media that he was ‘sacked’ – he didn’t resign – he was a victim of ‘sleaze and innuendo – trial by media’ – favoured by the ‘ruling party’.
Before his chair was cold, a Zanu style raid was organized and executed on the parliamentary office of an opposition MP – coupled with a (taxpayer funded) (reportedly) terrifying raid on his family home. The Officer in charge was swiftly given Sir Ian Blair’s job.
Sir Ian is apparently held in high regard and extremely well supported. His treatment is akin to that of a ‘banana republic’ – he’s, apparently, denied any means of defence.

Discuss.
You are a figment of fewer people’s imagination.
Have you ever thought about getting professional help, mate? In all seriousness, readers here feel sorry for you more than anything else. Why not try to get a life? You surely can’t waste all day every day writing comments on a blog. Try something different and expand your horizons.
Instead of expanding your Anus !
swap the G and the D and I would certainly agree…..
You are a Twat
Disgusting !
I now realise why Gormless’s policy of standing next to Obarma, and hoping some sunshine will fall on him as well, is completely wrong.
Better to stand next to a jug-eared, unshaven, useless, fat-bastard – then even a sleazy copper doesn’t look too bad.
If Mr. Obama doesn’t produce his full birth certificate smartish, the Brown hex is going to go nuclear.
Why is Blair grabbing the headlines by making an issue out of this? Is he planning a book, or maybe a political career? It doesn’t look like he’s planning to disappear.
How about an appearance on I’m a Celeb Get Me Out – preferable the jungle edition in outback Queensland.
or helmond province
Or to the North West of Tenant Creek – say 400 miles !
He’s getting his denial in early. Grabbing the headlines claiming the report has exonerated him while by tomorrow the report will be ‘yesterdays news’.
News management – Labour style.
They get away with it because the media lets them.
It is an established fact that Labour politicians lie without hesitation and the ex met Commissioner is one of them, otherwise he would not have survived so long.
This is a case where the information needed to be checked before it was published.
jgm2 is right. the denial came out first even if it is untrue, and will have more prominence in everybodys mind than the report itself.
Unless of course the media does its job and highlights the fact that Blair lied about the contents of the report.
What else has he lied about?
Compliant media scum can go hang.
Sky news ‘ …. breaking news ….. Plod attempts to spin his way out of possible trouble ….. breaking news ….. Plod attempts to spin his way out of possible trouble ….. ‘
Dream on. Sky News you wankers, fuck right off. You’re part of the problem. You prostitutes. You deserve to fry in hell.
I won’t forget you for being part of the shit storm inflicted on the country by the Labour arseholes.
You’re nicked.
Stockwell ?
Isn’t Blair the cunnus who claimed to have singlehandedly apprehended the IRA Balcombe Street Gang which later was revealed to be a complete lie? Why wasn’t he sacked and prosecuted for perjury at the time?
Let’s face it, Blair was another useful idiot, like the other Blair and now Brown, all identified at an early age for their lying, corrupted, sociopathic ways and no doubt with blackmail thrown in – closet homosexuality/paedophilia – and then catapulted to leadership where they are used as tools of the string pullers.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/middle_east/8151336.stm
Wasn’t there some gossip regarding George Robertson (Defence) and possibly kiddie fiddling, promoted above the Radar to NATO, now a life peer FFS, Bliar to be President of EUSSR, no surprise they have previous
I fear that you are correct
A blatant attempt to limit the amount of s**t that will stick
Depends really upon whether the media actually do pick up on the “clarification” from the report writers
We’d better make sure there’s more shit to be thrown – let’s start with the Brazillian electrician murdered by his men because they weren’t sure who he was, but were so definite he was a terrrorist even when they hadn’t seen a picture of the wanted man…
Damn right, Steve. And in case anyone thinks “Well, he was foreign looking and obviously shifty”, what happened to him could happen to anyone given the ‘quality’ of work done by our esteemed security services.
Didn’t the spook checking JC de M’s front door have to go for a slash at one point and lost a few minutes?
To be fair to them, our police and forces are better than most in the world, but we quite rightly expect them to be held to account when they screw up – not the whitewash enquiries we have become used to under this government…
talking about loosing a few minutes it was I understand shown that the log of the Stockwell events was changed before being handed in. No action was taken of course.
In my industry doing such a thing will land you in prison and has done in the past for those that were tempted.
One rule for them I suppose…. doffs cap.
Rumour has it that the people who shot poor Mr Menezes were not police but Army, probably from the Special Reconnaissance Regiment. Ian Blair has had to carry the can for a ministerial decision to deploy the Army that was originally kept secret because it might have been unpopular, but now has to be kept secret just because it is secret.
It doesn’t alter the fact that if Ian Blair swallowed a nail he’d shit a corkscrew.
Interesting comment Sir William, not heard that one before.
It’s possible given the circumstances that it might be the case, if the Army (SAS, marines?) were told to take someone out then that is exactly what would happen – whether they are in Helmand or Basra, or on secondment to SO19 in London.
The order did not come from the ground though, it was from much higher up, and this is where accountability for actions seems to have disappeared in the last 12 years.
Is he grabbing the headlines? If I relied on the MSM, he would just evolve into a new parasite silently and reappear troughing under a new guise. The establishment continue to look after number 1. As with all the comments on the other Bliar evolving into EUSSR president, several million better off for his gap years, not least thanx to Israel, what’s that all about, I thought he had become a RC. Move along, nothing to see
Simple, he’s planning to get more money, and much more power, with the help of his nauseating pal mandleson. I wonder if the gorgon realised the trap that was set for him when he put that shit in to the lords? You couldn’t put a pin between them for ‘detestableness.’
Troughess Kinnock wants Blair to be first President of Euroland. What’s that? Different twat?
would be funny when he comes to downing street and brown goes to meet him him ” hello president blair”
Freddie, mate, if that happens come down here. I’m sure we would let you in.
not after we regain the ashes lad , although am going to get taxed at 50 % soon so ipl here i come
Just refelect on how we welcomed Harold Larwood, when he settled here. We appreciate a trier.
the beaches are nice lad got some peadlos?
Freddie, be careful with that spelling – could get you in trouble!
You could just get a pedalo in Bournemouth and head south, follow the coast through the Med, on through Suez and a couple of years from now you’d be there in time for the next Ashes. You’ll have legs like a fucking gorillas by then so no trouble with the run-up either.
Make sure you’ve got enough unexpired time on your passport thogh Freddie.
can i take a few beers
I suggest you take nothing but beer Freddie. No space for anything else.
jgm2: dont worry about the passport – under our Labor (sic) govt if you arrive here by boat with no passport you become an instant Aussie
sounds good will take the first one out of bournemouth after the 5th test
and another thing that lucy bird who does the weather on sky is fit
Aussie, didn’t that happen to all of yous in the 19th century?
Freddie are you going to be fit today?
And talking of fit, stop hitting on my girlfriend Lucy!
steve i cant name the team lad in case an aussie might see it lad
sorry didnt know she was you bit lad good taste
Talking of weather girls, what happened to Suzanne Charlton?
You’re showing your age there Engineer – Don’t the Beeb have a policy of retiring on-screen women when they get to their forties? I’ve got seen Suzanne on telly for years though
Only joking Freddie, I only know her on the telly (although I believe I was the first to mention her here!) – but I would though!
Shouldn’t you be concentrating more on the knee than the weather girls though, or were you watching hoping for rain??
In 1987 she transferred to the London Weather Centre as a forecaster, joining the BBC weather team in March 1989 until 1998 when she left to be a full time mum.
She appeared on a range of channels including Breakfast News in 1992. In the summer of 1990, she spent three and a half months working as a forecaster with the RAF in Germany. A fellow of the Royal Meteorological Society, Suzanne lives in Hertfordshire.
Suzanne rejoined the BBC weather team in March 2006 on a part time basis.
Freddie: talking of beers, its time to fire up the barbie and get a few stubbies on ice ready for the toss. Trust its not pissing down at Lods??
weathers good today lad
Haven’t you all been overwhelmed by inundations of Indonesians yet?
A few have tried, but the crocs and sharks seem to keep the numbers down
Sorry mate,
Been on the grog all day and struth!!!!, waking up t’day with the hugest goanna’s willie of a headache.
Last night after work, pocket-picking, bread loaf stealing and Irish Catholic terrorism, I went to my sister/ex-wife’s place. She lives alone.
Uptight cow, she said that it was only because I was her brother, and for ma’s sake, that she didn’t claim for more at the divorce.
Anyway, that’s all behind me now as I sit down in me stick-and-reed bungalow to feast on kangaroo testicles and warm, light beer. Bloody oath!
Also, the local Chinese restaurants found out they taste like chicken.
No, not funny.
Yeah. What’s that about. I thought our government threw him out of power for being shit. How come he’s not good enough to be PM of the UK but he’s good enough to be PM of Europe?
I can see how Kinnock could be confused. After all being rejected by the voters of the UK was good enough for him to be appointed to an all trotters in the trough Euro bonanza and beano that he has managed to turn into a lifetimes work for him and his family.
But surely this is repeating the mistake.
I thougt we’d got rid of Blair and Kinnock and the fuckers keep turning up.
Sometimes that floater just wont flush.
I resent that.
Anyhow, at least Blair brought Fungus the Bogeyman to justice, after years of hiding out in the pages of comics. This was his finest hour.
Tie me Kangaroo down, mate
Like bloodsucking vampires – we should satke them as we fire them.
I dont understand, you can become President without being elected?
I thought that only happened in communist countries?
Oh wait its for the Presidency of the EUSSR.
That explains everything then, jobs for “people who really matter” as Comrade Barroso described the unelected elite at the heart of the EU tyranny.
We’ll be ruled by the ungodly, unelected and disgraced trio of Blair, Brown and Mandelson. How on earth can this be allowed to happen?
its just not cricket lad
Seems these days it is cricket.
It’s the fault of those that voted them in at the last GE in 2005.
Mostly incapacity benefit-junkie or public sector employed Northerners and Scots
It would enable him to endorse her expense chits.
Just saw this latest PC bollocks.
Do we know if McDoom and Balls have undergone this test or does it only apply to the rest of us ?
Could be a good way of keeping MPs away from children.
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/books/booknews/5834646/Philip-Pullman-refuses-to-undergo-insulting-child-safety-check.html
you call it PC bollocks, but it looks more like the result of peadophilomania whipped up by tabloids.
Indeed – Chris Morris and Brass Eye got it spot on, it’s a media problem more than a child abuse problem.
90% of abuse happens in the home but still we get this rediculous legislation which inconveniences everyone for the protection of very few – but still doesn’t stop a ‘clean skin’ bad apple getting through, as happened only a couple of months ago with the nursry worker.
It’s the 21st century equivalent of the 1970s mantra of ‘Every man is a potential rapist’. Now every man is a potential paedophile. Damn inconvenient for the ideology when a woman is apparently involved.
I disagree. The rapist thing came from the lofty heights of academic feminism.
Now I can’t remember the 70s properly – but do remember “charlie says don’t talk to strangers” (*)- I don’t know what the day to day safety obsessions were.
Are the academics really saying “every man” about this?
Or is it, as I suspect, the tabloid frenzy thats got even worse since “brass eye”.
(* Too right. they included ian sutcliffe, Fred west, and the chap that killed leslie moleseed.)
unemployment rates between men and women:
Europe: men 9.3% women 9.7%
UK: men 8.7% women 6.5%
http://epp.eurostat.ec.europa.eu/portal/page/portal/eurostat/home/
UK is a pussywhipped shithole full of neurotic bints and psychotic ladyboys
There’s a horse and cart thing going on. Children have become increasingly sexualised in the last 20 years. I would be astonished if there were more paedophiles now than in the 1970s, but with increased media reporting replacing the Don’t Tell, Can’t See of the period before the 1990s added to a cultural construct of children’s bodies as being just like adult bodies only smaller (toddler make-up, padded bras for 6 year olds, high-heel shoes for babies ffs – soft so they collapse), no adult who has a relationship of any kind with a child can escape the innuendo.
The govt. want more male primary school teachers. Lord help those men who try it.
There aren’t any more than in the ’70s. What about the one sex religious boarding schools, the children’s homes, the fact is that it’s only in recent years that these practises have been even recognised. I suspect the ancient Greeks knew all about it, and before them Neanderthal man.
He’s no ‘Sir’. He’s a party apparatchik, self serving and disgusting individual.
Plod close ranks and spin. More predictable shit.
Fuck off you wanker.
Charles Clarke missed his vocation in life, pouring the jelly into pork pies though the small hole in the top
I disagree. That sort of real skill is surely beyond the ludicrous fat twat.
Once and Blair, always a Bliar.
If there’s one thing that has been utterly repugnent over the past 12yrs, it is this era of “spin”. Of course “spin” has always happened in politics, but usually there’s the merest thread of truth. Not for these lying hoons though.
From “today’s a good day to bury bad news”, passing by “there are weapons of mass destruction” all the way to “I was acting within the rules”… What a shower of utter c*nts!
i asked was it this bad under major and thatcher some said yes and some said no fuckin way
Under Major, I remember it being more of “dirty bastards” mentality – a “holier than thou” approach, you could say. There certainly wasn’t this vomit-inducing wholescale corruption.
It probably was but with the advent of the net it’s a lot harder to hide behind shit.
so do you reakon it will be better next time after the election ( if there is one )
I doubt it. Vigilance is key mate. Take them to task and take them to task often lad.
well with sites like this we might get a honest goverment for the first term ?
No Freddie, it won’t be better. It will be much worse. The economy is totally in the shitter and we will have to cut public service pay by 20% or their numbers by 20%. The Labour opposition will be spending all their time shrieking about how that isn’t necessary at all, after all they didn’t do it.
The unions and Labour will be organising mass strikes of public workers to bring the country to a standstill. Labour voters will be be getting twatted in the gob by policemen. The country will be polarised. There will be riots and social unrest that will make the 1970′s look like the good old days.
Labour know this is the price of avoiding making tough decisions now in a non-partisan way but they don’t give a fuck Freddie.
We’re fucked.
But at least we won’t have that gurning imbecile Brown flying around the world on our buck getting some more photos for his fucking awful self-serving autobiography and memoirs.
‘Gordon Brown – Why I’m Fucking Great’ by Gordon Brown.
Get on your pedalo and ride son.
i will as soon as the 5th test is done and we win the ashes
jgm2 – I’m not that pessimistic. It’s true that the economy is in the worst mess it has been since WW2, and sorting that out will be a long, and painful, job. However, I can’t see a Conservative government being as deep into the lying as this one; the Tories have seen the depth of public disgust with being lied to, and know that being more honest with the public, even if the message isn’t popular, will at least earn them some grudging respect, which is more than Labour deserve.
Will it all be wonderful under the Tories? Will they always be wise and statesmanlike leaders? No, of course not; they are human beings with all the weaknesses that all humans have, but in the Conservative ethos there is a respect for history and tradition that Labour doesn’t have; The Tories know that they are charged with running the country for a while, not for ever, and they will try to improve things for the benefit of all. They did that the last time they where in power.
Given the options available at the next GE, I reckon the Tories are the least worst option.
PS. I’m not a tory party member, and never have been. I’m not a troll – the above is just one bloke’s honest opinion.
Engineer, don’t tell me that after nigh on 30 years of bad and now even worse government you’re still an optimist?
Quotation from Abraham Cowley 1661 re that monster Oliver Cromwell.
‘What can be more extraordinarily wicked, than for a person to pretend freedom for all men, and, under the help of that pretence, to make all men his servants?…. now he will govern by major -generals, now by one house, now by another house, now by no house, now the freak takes him, and he makes 70 peers of the lands at one clap; …. he chose not only the worst clay he could find, but picks up even the dirt and mire to form out of it his ” vessels of honour”……Good god, what have we seen, what have we suffered? What do all these actions signify? What do they say aloud to the nation, but this, even as plainly as if it were proclaimed through the streets of London, “You are slaves and fools, and so I will use you”?
I remember Mellor in his Chelsea kit – thought that was bad at the time. Shows how things have changed.
The Chelsea kit thing was apparently an invention by Max Clifford.
Engineer.
Congratulations on an excellent post. It was a pleasure to read and you made your point without resort to hyperbole or bad language.
Should be seen as an example to others.
Rare outburst of honesty at BBC
http://dizzythinks.net/2009/07/jim-knights-job-title-according-to-bbc.html
What kind of sad, fucked up, lifeless cnut could have sat there and said:
“Well, Prime Minister, if we refer to the increase in helicopters in % terms it’ll sound more than if we use actual numbers”
‘Cos that’s what they’ve done. They’ve sat there and thought through how to spin the stats in order to manipulate the debate.
How do you explain to the grandkids that you spent the war trying to hoodwink the British public. They just don’t understand that since Iraq we trust nothing that they say.
Rex – but it’s hardly new to the fuckwit Brown is it? It seems like an eternity since “a zero percent rise”…
If there’s another crisis – terrorist attack, further economic collapse or low poll rating – I genuinely wouldn’t put it past the little shit to use that as an excuse to pass emergency legislation to “postpone” the general election… “for the good of the country”!!
Do those who never won through an election cling on more, me wonders?
Did Coulson perform well on tuesday?
You don’t get anything for a pair of tits – Not in this game!
His days are numbered. There is more to come, I’m afraid.
bullshit
Yes, more of that too I’m afraid. But Andy knows more trouble is due.

4 smears and 2 scoops sound great!
Gadzooks Mark – you gotta love your fighting spirit
oh! you are awful
I wonder, when Anthony Bliar is selected by the EU Politburo to become President, will he hold out the hand of forgiveness and appoint Ian Bliar head of Europol?
Probably.
I hold out hope that other EU countries get together, put their foot down and vote for somebody else.
Hitler would be more preferable to Blair.
I’m the leader of the pack, which makes me such a lucky jack, and here they are, they’re so appealing, come on Dollies, do your dealing!
You just know he would sell us down the river to further his career. When he was last President ( UK’s turn ) he negotiated an appalling budget settlement because he was afraid it would look bad if he didn’t get a result. Chirac and Schroder legged him over and we’re paying billions extra at a time we have no money.
rot in hell.

Really? That will be news to my mammy.
Might send another pizza to the boys to cheer ‘em up.
breaking the silence? hardly you Huhne. If they’re so concerned about what happened why have they given their testimony anonymously? Don’t give me the ‘they’ll be assasinated by Mossad’ routine.
I read an anonymous testimony last week – written by an insider – who stated that Breaking The Silence was a left wing anti Israeli Hamas front. The testimony goes on to say that during the Israeli assault on Gaza Hamas put civilians in harms way in order to create ‘war crimes’, film them and broadcast to the media around the world.
Anonymous testimony holds no water.
Is that Labour rosette that Ian Blair is wearing?
please tell me that was photoshopped…..
whatever happened to the oath he took as a PC…… ‘without fear or favour’ ?

Supposed to be apolitical and neutral, and not a poitical tool at ANY administration’s disposal.
WHY hasn’t this been BIG news?
I agree disgusting is it not ?
Nothing to see here move along please
Talking about spin, did anyone see BBC Breakfast this morning – whipping themselves into a frenzy about the return of bankers big bonuses? For my part, it’s none of my business unless they’ve been bailed out by the State. What this odd hysteria looks like is the BBC participating in an attempt to deflect some of the Government’s blame for the current meltdown, after Brown lost the argument that pissing public money up the wall had nothing to do with it.
…not to mention the failure of the regulatory system for which Brown was responsible
Told you. Told you that was why the report on the banking crisis was being held back for the end of the Parliamentary session. Instead of the whole session being characterised by MP’s sleaze, greed and incompetence we get a reprise of ‘Blame the Bankers for the governments imbecilic handling of the economy’.
And up pops the BBC to beam it into our homes.
Evil fuckers.
I assume you’re a banker. If not you need your head examining.
I’m afraid your Labour ‘re-education’ camps are not required hereabouts. The economy is fucked. Labour fucked it. Labour is continuing to fuck it. The only person saying otherwise is Gordon ‘It’s all my responsibility when things are going great’ Brown.
Alastair Darling is keeping his head down. Mervyn King has given him both barrels. The OECD has given him both barrels. Our fiscal deficit this year will exceed Iceland – which we know for a fact is bust.
Head examined? You fink?
So Bliar MkII still thinks he’s important enough to put out a press release eh? What is it about theses types that gives them automatic access to the media, our money and freedom. This man is responsible for the murder of certainly one individual in London as well as running a very poor terror organisation and yet walks free …….????????
He’s shit but he’s Labour’s shit
THis reminds me of the BBC headline last Saturday’s concerning Lee Jasper
“Ex-mayor’s aide cleared of fraud”
If you click on the line and read on..
“His report found that Mr Jasper failed to record declared interests to the “standards expected”. He also found that Mr Jasper’s role in approving funding was “inappropriate given his interests” in a number of cases.
Mr Jasper was an ex-director of the 1990 Trust, a group which received £192,000 from the GLA, the report said.
He also had personal or business relationships with a number of directors of the Black Londoners’ Forum, which received £368,550 from the GLA.
Mr Haworth-Maden said: “Whilst I have found no evidence of the misappropriation of funds, I am unable to conclude that the authority can demonstrate that it has achieved value for money for the funding it has provided to the Black Londoners’ Forum and the 1990 Trust.”
The report also found administrative problems relating to other groups allocated money by the GLA, namely Afroice and the National Assembly Against Racism. “
I’m with the commenters on Cleverly’s (if only he was) site. I didn’t understand a word of what he wrote. A masterpiece of 21st century politikspeek.
I think he means “Not so fast you slimy bastard”.
VOTE LABOUR
Listen Ian,I tell the gags on this site, mate.

Judging by your wonky eye, you’re the Toytown Nazi’s version of Mart Feldman.
Or even Marty Feldman
You dont do the jokes, you are a joke. Though I have to say, on the face of it, a more honest joke than your ZaNuLab rivals for the socialist vote.

You see a photo like that and its really difficult to argue against the re-introduction of the death penalty.
Looks like a very carefully worded report by Flanagan
CUMBRIA ALERT
Gordon is reported to be holidaying in The Lakes this year.
Letting him so close to Sellafield is just asking for trouble.
In The Lakes sound great, I will buy the weights to ensure he stays under.
I just checked – Aberdeen is well outside the blast and fallout zone!
.. phew!
Aberdeen is directly in line with the prevailing winds from Sellafield.
Is Keswick twinned with Cape Cod?
Naughty, there will be no nappies and rocking horses for Gordon this year, well not until Sarah has slipped away to some GLBT “event” that needs some lavender support.
Cockermouth.
Egremont
Don’t panic. There’s a big fence all round Sellafield, and they are VERY choosy who they let in.
He’d be better off at Whitehaven. The harbour has some nice tall quays to fall off.

Cumbrians, check your home insurance, lay in supplies of water and food that can be eaten without cooking and take Granny to stay with her relatives. Get the larger items of furntiure upstairs now if you can. Jonah is on the way!
Well let’s see- the TaxPayers Alliance says of Sir Ian that he left the Met riven with divisive legal claims, internal disputes and discontent and had to be forced out of office early. The first commissioner incidentally to leave office early in over a 100 years. Oh and let’s not forget the innocent Charles de Menezes was shot dead by his men on his watch.
In order to get rid of him they gave him a golden handshake of £340,000- on top of his salary for that year which was a further £240,000 plus a £3million plus pension pot to give him a £160,000 pension pa.
Obviously that’s not enough – now he’s writing book – soon to be published no doubt to ‘exonerate’ himself. And no doubt that’s what all this sudden publicity is about.
What a ‘sweet smelling hardworking honest’ Labour crew we’ve had in all senior walks of life this last 12 years!!!!
Was quite heartened the other day by the response to the phone-tapping/Coulson affair given by Yates of the Yard. “No new evidence, nothing for Plod to do.” An unspoken “We’ll get on with policing, you do the politics. We’re staying out of politics.” (Mind you, he has had his fingers slightly singed a couple of times, and I don’t suppose he wants to go there again.)
Rather refreshing. Hope it lasts.
Come on someone (Blunkett?), give the poor man a few directorships.
O/T but it seems Sorryah McFuckwits tears were just crocodile tears after all (not there was any doubt) but they did get the all important soundbite and 30 second top news clip on the new channels (Except Pravda that probably had a newsnight special on it no doubt)
What is it about these utter utter bastards in Labour that they don’t get including queen bitch herself? There truly is no honour among thieves.
Labour Hoons the lot of them…..

I do not use members of my family to get publicity for myself. Sarah isn’t really a proper wife, she’s just a fag-hag who pretends to be a genuine wife that I can con people into thinking that I’m not really gay. I wouldn’t have been able to take over from Tony Blair if I didn’t go through this charade.
So we can go after Osborne’s wife now ?
Good grief. Keith Vaz actually has a backbone!! He pledged his support and voted with the Tories and LibDems.
Jaw now dislocated due to extreme dropping.
Only because Vaz doesn’t want to see muslim terrorists extradited.
Ah, of course, silly me. D’oh.
‘Thrilled’ to see my own MP was one of those who had a change of heart on the issue and is willing to send this vulnerable man into the jaws of US ‘justice’. And I’m going to ask him why.
There must be some money in it somewhere for Vaz.
Me and my mate Naomi Campbell are really upset about that bloke, whatsisname?, who’s getting deported to America, honestly we are, sniff, sniff, has anyone got a kleenex? Was that alright Gordon, did I do good? Did the Daily Mail photographer get some good pictures of me pretending to cry?
does the fat bastard on the left need air lift?
OT
Did the Labour govt order the assassination of David Kelly?:

Yes!
The more I consider the untimely demise of Robin Cook in these intervening years, the more I conclude how timely it was for zanu liebore.
It all started with the wrong type of blade.
Blair is a classic example of what happens when the police are politicised. What ye sow, ye shall reap.
The Met are a classic example of the degeneration and growing authoritarianism of a police force under a cynical, Stalinistic government like this one.
Free guided tour around Charles Clark.
Available all day, for one day only
can we take a peak up the secret chocolate staircase?
But how will we get past his ears?
In the meantime, Blair’s friend Brown is being attacked even more
Brown under attack for… being Brown, really
Sir Ian Blair you are a cu’nt of the first water. I despise you. I imagine your pets hold you in utter contempt as well. It appears you are still alive… please rectify this at the first available opportunity you troughing, politically correct, pointless shitHuhne, bastard fuckpiece. *helps little old lady across road*
Strange, isn’t it, how NuLiebour politicians and their toadies always regard the lack of any charges or other action against them as ‘exoneration’. Peter Vain suffers from the same delusion.
Not forgetting “Lord” (call me Michael) Levy. Because the rozzers didn’t press charges he trilled to the meeja “I have been exonerated!”
Sorry chum, you are only exonerated when a judge says “you are free to go.” I don’t actually remember that happening, Mike.
Presumably, what Sir Ian was trying to do was declare ‘victory’ or at least proclaim ‘exoneration’, in the hope that journalists would not look at what the MPA had actually said. And this was presumably why his statement was made so late in the day and without giving the MPA any warning that it was due to be made.
As I have made clear at http://www.lordtobyharris.org.uk/metropolitan-police-authority-makes-it-clear-it-was-not-an-exoneration-of-sir-ian-blair/, the nature of those who have considered the report and now made the statement that their findings “do not amount to an exoneration” means that their views should be taken seriously.
It should be Guido Fawkes’s…
Fucking Kinnocks and Blairs. Monstrous self-serving bastards – all of them. Exactly what good has any of them done for this country?
The Authority now wishes it to be made explicit that its decision, as recorded in the minutes of its exempt meeting, does not amount to an exoneration of Sir Ian Blair’s conduct
Too late. The BBC had already broadcast Sir Ian’s version
Is that a rosette on Blair? If so, had he just returned from the National Pig Snouting trials complete with his rider the jug-eared android next to him.
Looks like the front cover of a Noddy book.
With big ears and PC plod up to no good.
