BBC Guardian Co-Sponsoring Research

The BBC is viewed by many right-wingers as the broadcasting arm of the Guardianistas.  The Beeboids argue that this is unfair, and that the BBC is an unbiased, objective, public service broadcaster.  The BBC and the Guardian jointly sponsored an ICM survey into public opinion about the Iraq war.  Guido can’t guardian-logorecall a time when the BBC has got into bed with a newspaper like this – imagine the uproar if the BBC had co-sponsored a poll about immigration with the Daily Mail.    Birds of a feather flock together?

just in case I didn’t make my point clearly, the reason that would be the best way forward is because it would mean far less deaths than the alternative.

The BBC news regularly has Grauniad journalists on and has done so for 30 years at least. Their reply to my complaint of bias was that Grauniad journalists were professionals!

The BBC is crudely one sided on support for ZaNu, for global boring and for the EU, but they have convinced themselves that their positions are neutral. The only option is to break it up and sell it off. In the meantime don’t buy a TV licence.

The Sun for most of ZaNu’ s tenure was a New Liebore supporter. I cannot recall the last time I heard a Mail or Telegraph reporter (rather than occasional columnist like d’Anconna). The BBC doesn’t often have Mirror reporters on either. It is just Grauniad journalists that proliferate. This is especially strange considering that the Grauniad is an unpopular, loss making (and lying) rag.

It just does not happen. It is institutionally biased. It is supposed to represent all views. The major issue with the beeb is ofcourse it’s bloated funding that we all pay for and goes to making the lefty stars even more wealthy; no wonder they ask us for money for the poor all the time because they are sitting pretty. These stars even now appear on QT. Since when does their so called entertainment talent qualify them to be politicians? Why doesnt the beeb just drga some one off the street to appear on QT? its the same thing!

    The big D says:

The real problem for the BBC is their reputation for being unbiased etc.etc. Once lost, I doubt they will be able to regain it.

The question then becomes why would you want to support a disreputable organization with public money? The probable answer is that you wouldn’t.

The incestuous relationship between government and news organization has hastened the demise of the latter.

A squalid end to a once great institution.

The real problem is demographics. Young people are done with TV. Too boring. Hence the tendency to appeal more and more to its one streadfast audience – overweight women living on council estates.

However the BBC does work for something, which goes by the name of WORLD FASCISM, headed up by the OWNERS of The World Central Bank.

    Or put it another way;

The BBC works for The British/world ESTABLISHMENT pure and simple.

Which basically means The BBC is working 100% or the time for the same people virtually everyone else is working around 85% of the time for.

Just look at their reporters. Glenn Campbell, Brian Taylor, Douglas Fraser, Gordon Brewer (not to mention Kirsty Wark). All Labour party sympathisers! Ditto the people they invite onto the programme Alf Young, Bill Jamieson, Alan Cochrane. Their CEO wanted to deny Iain McWhirter invitations to speak on political programmes because he critisised BBC Scotland at the broadcasting inquiry.

And then of course there the deceipt they perpetrated about BBC Scotland making programmes when they were actually being made in London. Johnathan Ross programme (made in Scotland) a lie. What they were doing was depriving BBC Scotland of funding to make programmes and covering it up.

The BBC and the Guardian colluded with Labour on the Andy Coulson smeargate and would have persisted with it if the BBC and Labour had not smelt the coffee over the public backlash as the death toll in Afghanistan mounted. The groundwork for this well planned offensive to get the Tories spin-doctor was kicked off by the most perplexing revelation a few weeks ago that Gordon Brown was furious at the criticism coming his way from the Guardian.

I know, everyone take time to go WHAT CRITICISM!!!? This is what passes for Labour subtley and cunning, as the Guardian regurgitated old hat about Andy Coulson, Gordon could say nothing to do with me Guv I don’t like them. His first utterence on the subject from the G8 conference was serious questions had to be answered and hadn’t the Conservative chairman of the Commons select committee not said this very thing. Note, he is busy at the G8 saving the World but totally up to speed on who was saying what about the “get Coulson smeargate”.

The final proof of a Faustian pact by the Guardian and the BBC to do everything they can to support Gordon continuing in office was the timely appearance of this jointly commissioned poll showing rather fortuitously that support for the war in Afghanistan had risen. Note the play on risen downplaying the fact a majority were still against the war. Now we have the results of an ITV commissioned poll which says 59% are against the war in Afghanistan. I know which figures I trust.

Contrast the BBC’s reporting of this discredited, dishonest, corrupt and ruinous shower in Government with its attitude during the last year’s of the Major administration, when journalists were openly hostile.
Leftie BBC reporters could not wait for New Liebour to take power. Even when they managed to be even handed for the majority of a report, they still managed to twist the knife in the summing up.
The old “It remains to be seen,” “serious questions remain”, “time will tell whether” and “but insiders say” lines.
As in: “So the Tories say they no longer have any desire to see the ritual slaughter of the nation’s babies but serious questions remain and only time will tell whether they can convince the public that they have given up the killing of children.”
Of course, the Major administration was shite in many ways but, while it fell apart, the government machine was still being reasonably well managed and we weren’t simultaneously paying ruinous taxes while running up 50 years of debt.
