If I have swine flu I want to take Tami flu. If all I have is summer flu then it is pointless, and possibly counter productive, taking Tami flu. Hence a reason for wanting to know.

We just need to pray we don’t get a 1918 spanish ‘flu scenario this winter, because judging by the difficulty in getting tamiflu now, god knows what it will be like when people really do start dropping like flies. Tamiflu, as others have already said, really needs to be taken during the first 24 hours of symptoms, but with phone lines permenantly jammed – as they would be if things really kick off – how the hell are people going to be able to get prescriptions?

We put our faith, and our lives in the hands of this Government.

God help us if we really have to test that faith.
