I would be there but there’s some good telly on tonight and then England are playing lower bostwania in the world cup a real nail biting game is in the offing. Reforming the EU is like reforming the Mafia – doomed to failure as both are money sucking corrupt organisations that buy off politicians for their own ends.

More in Europe but not run by Europe. UKIP for me at the national elections, bollocks to all the main three EU whore parties.

Libelling the only progressive political group with representation in ‘europe’ is not helpful. ‘Anonymous’ makes for a usefully manipulated cat’s paw in doing this. Suspicions that his server was located in either Belgium, France, or Luxembourg would occur only to an utter hoon. Among whose number I am happily counted.

the new party is a by-product of the increased power and confidence of the European Parliament and should be welcomed. as the only democratic branch of the european project, MEPs must speak their minds and fairly represent their constituents partly by forming groups and alliances.

however, i find it disappointing that this new party is anti-federalist, anti-immigration and emphasises “free enterprise… small government” as i do not feel that this is in british or european best interests. i am slightly alarmed that david cameron is being led by misinformed populists and rabble-rousters rather than the rational, centric elements of his party. why is he emeshing himself with these irrational euro-sceptic-extremists?

i very much hope that this another daft stunt by mr cameron and that he will come to his senses and allow the conservatives MEPs to reunite with the EPP where they belong.

Cameron talks the talk only when too many people seem to have noticed that the Tory, Labour and Liberal varieties of excrement comprise one inseparable heap.
Words are cheap. He’ll walk away from those in the declaration above.
Considering only the revealed embezzling of expenses, does anyone here believe that the sitting parties should be allowed anywhere near Parliament?
