Defence procurement has been skewed towards European suppliers and the dream of a European Rapid Reaction Force for political reasons, and British forces are dying because of it.

And I have to agree with Sir Mufbourne-Harbor. Where has the opposition been? What has the Defence Select Committee been doing? We have ended up with an EU Parliament in miniature – there effectively is no opposition in Westminster on a great number of issues as both main parties vie to be more statist and more welfarist than each other to please their EU master. We have a National Government in all but name and that nation is Europe.
