We have a problem of far too many new laws being introduced. The more MPs are paid, the more they will feel they need to “produce” and since all they produce is new policy and new legislation, what we really need to do is pay them less.

Nobody? How can one explain the high salaries they offer, the ability for them to _consistently_ attract the best people from the top 5 universities on the planet, and continue to get contracts with the top companies/governments on said planet.

Yes, I am a consultant and know about this. I fear many people dipping their oars in on this (and other issues) have less than appropriate backgrounds to comment with sufficient weight to back-up what they say (however correct it may be). Alas, in this game confidence is key.

In hindsight, it will seem preposterous that anyone could ever have believed the lies of the organizing criminals who have systematically infiltrated and taken over our political system.

Your ‘MP’ is more likely to be the fixer of some corporation, or an Agent of Influence of some foreign government, than they are to have anything other than a token interest in dull constituency affairs.

They will cling on till the very bitter end, beyond which only main force can hope to restore the legitimacy of government.

Yes do highlight the discrepancy between the earnings of most of the British people as compared with the MPs who are supposed to represent them. The MPs basic salary of almost £65,000 approaches 3 times the salary of a normal person living in Yorkshire, or Lancashire, for example.

So if these MPs need two homes, they have ample money to fund those out of their basic salary, as most people have to fund one home on a third of the MPs salary.

Thus, an MP funding two homes on treble the normal salary, will still have one normal salary left over to pay for their own food, entertainment, gardening requisites, duck islands, and perks.
