Sorry to go o/t, but have you seen this one? http://www.thisislondon.co.uk/standard/article-23701307-details/London+MP+claims+public+money+for+Labour+pa

Now we have not just some of the pigs, but the pig farmer himself - the Labour Party.

Who should plod have been talking to by now? Margaret Hodge, her Constituency Manager, her Constituency Chairman, her Constituency Treasurer, the Labour Party Treasurer, every clerk in the fees office who had any knowledge of this unconstitutional scam. A ten-year-old would know better than to claim on this one - "just following the system".

The pig swilling by individuals is bad enough, but institutional theft from the public by the ruling party is the stuff of banana republics. Let's have a new petition, not for McBruin to go, but for the Labour Party to be dissolved. This, to me, is the end of the road.

Tru Tory--- So what if Cameron bought a prpoerty at a price requiring a mortgage repayment of £1700/month?

Would you have preferred him to pay cash up front ? Why should he forfeit additional costs allowance?

You are no tory mate whatever protestations you make. Mcbride would have done a much better job. Bet you miss him lots.

Like the no 10 resign petition, it's unlikely to have any impact, but well sod it, I signed them both anyway.

I don't

But the "odd" appearance gives credence to the other parties.
I think Labour know he's not a vote catcher so they keep him under wraps (possibly a straitjacket).

Another week gone by and hardly into double figures. A few scraps thrown to the wolves but armor plated so that they last until the next general election and get their golden parachute.

Conservatives still offering tidbits to placate the masses, DC's become a candidate. Lib Dems proposals for change, Labour lets set up a committee.

The public anger will not abate until the chasm between treatment of MPs and that of the public is filled. So many people have made the distinction of what happens to a member of the public caught cheating and how MPs are allowed to continue, unhindered for a further 12 months.

What will it take to get through to these people that they are increasingly seen as a waste of oxygen?
