+++ Wintertons Standing Down +++
Sir Nicholas and Lady Winterton are retiring to “pass the baton to a younger person”. Let us not forget that they were found to have broken Commons rules in a critical report by Parliamentary Standards Commissioner John Lyon last year. Guido covered it at length here.
After paying off the mortgage on their Belgravia flat, the troughing couple transferred the £700,000 property to a family trust controlled by their children, and then charged the rent on it to parliamentary allowances. A scam that netted the family trust some £120,000. It was called “indefensible” by Cameron at the time. They paid back not a single penny.

Thieving Bastards! I hope you enjoy every night on D wing
Hanging’s too good for them – wait, no it isn’t. Hanging the thieving fecking hoons sounds about right.
we will charge an entry fee to the hangings.
if we wished to be kind we could pay a small percentage of the takings to the families of those who have been hanged.
only fair, innit?
Hangings? Now that’s an average of four metres per condemned about two hundred and eighty quid for 220 metres (Including VAT) Double that for organic hemp. Then there’s your timber costs for gallows (Fer gawds sake don’t use lamposts it’s against health and safety rules.) Then there’s yer iron work and fittings.
Tell you what. Call it two hundred per execution and I can do you a discount on a bulk order of five or more. Expenses extra ‘o course.
Hang the families first.
I thought you had moved to Nolfolk now the hall has been sold….
Chuck them off the Severn Suspension Bridge, saves all that money for rope, wood, fittings etc. and tides will clear the bloated corpes away for free!
small drop
sieze their assets that will pay off the national debt
fuckin hoons shoot em up the arse
Is it just me, but i am fascinated by freddies posts!
Always brief, pointedly accurate and offering a quick, effective and cost saving solution.
I salute you Sir!
Freddie for Prime Minister!
big freddie is pissed off
Shoot em up the arse could be good.
However, the Manyoo fans in Rome should be looking out for the subtle stiletto in the buttocks or the not so subtle truncheon on the cranium.
Too good for the Wintertons or Manyoo ?
Nah.
Apply to Lord Fondlebum for that job to be done!
Hey leave Mandelson out of this.
I’m looking forward to receiving the NuLab whip.
According to Littlejohn, Broon the Hoon may reshuffle his pack and promote Mandelscum. How can an unelected crook be given one of the 4 (Foreign Secretary?) great offices of state? Oh I know. He is NuLabour and according to the BBC only Tories can be crooks. Also Ed (so what?) Balls as Chancellor!!! Absolutely incredible Tough on crime. Tough on the causes of crime. (unless they are Labour fraudsters)
mandelson would love to be shot up the arse infact he’d like anything up his arse !
Spot on Freddie. Except I’d thump the twats as well. A good decking should sort them out.

Fear not, the return/elevation of these odious bastards will surely guarantee the demise of NuLiebour at the GE – or possibly before.
if brown was tough on crime he would have no fucking cabinet
DID THEY COMMIT AN ACT OF FRAUD?
They should be arrested at the very least.
How DO they get away with it?
is that Kirkbride woman still clinging to her job? I feel sorry for her nanny, losing caring rights to the fat OAP brother.
is the Uddin woman still clinging to her job?
Good question.
I have made Baroness ‘Uddini vanished in a puff of Taxpayers’ cash
I’d snare son bud
Yes but not for much longer if the bloggers have their way .
Email Tottering Hamlets Housing authority ask the officials with the same surname why she is still house-blocking when she has a marble palace in banglaland to go to.
they did committ an act of fraud and should be arrested. Kirkbride is still clinging on and describes those protesting against her as `sad losers`. What arrogance. The nanny is not lost, she is paid on expenses as secrtary. Ian Kirkbride is not a fat OAP he is a thin smartie, paid £40,000 a year for computer consultancy out of the parliamentary allowance and his home is rent free at our cost.
Horatio is 9 and a company director!
Crikey!
Wouldn’t surprise me if they send Horatio up the chimney to clean it, and pay him 40k a year for that well.
I suspect some of them just smear a little soot on their toddlers face and convince themselves that trougher junior has actually cleaned the chimney. I shudder to think what we pay for this sort of scam.
You couldn’t make it up!
Julie Jirkbride is and Cameron believes her.
Julie Kirkbride is…what exactly?
I see in today’s DT that her kind brother shops for her as well, getting her all the essential IT hardware a busy 24/7 MP requires, like 3 routers, multiple flash cards etc etc. He’s a kind soul, what a pity he isn’t paid for his sterling work!
How does he find the time to babysit? What a hero.
Ian Kirkbride is paid for his work – by you and me – out of the parliamentary allowance. As well as enjoying the perks of free living and quality shopping, he has been paid a salary for the past 12 years, and average annual income of £40,000 at our expense! Not that this detracts from his dedication to his sister.
Ian`s dedication to Horatio knows no bounds.
looking at the state of her husband and the fact they all live together i think there is some serious in breeding going on here !
They should be made to stay and help the tories become unelectable and save the country from the Obama lite vacuum that is David Cameron
one thing to say to the troughertons have a slow painfull death !
standing down? they want stringing up!
We need to see some prosecutions and some sackings – resignations are not enough — at least Dave has been more active than Gordon – I’ll give him that.
Where is the Met ?
But more importantly “Where’s Gordon” and why is every single member of his cabinet and of his government still there when Most of them have been seriously involved with this thieving and indefensible troughing?
I think, nell, that you’ve found the problem right there – Gordon’s top table boys and girls are all at it.
Once he’s fired the trougers from around his own cabinet table, who exactly has he got left (apart from Ed Milliband)?
At this rate there won’t be any MPs left.
Which, frankly, I think would be a good thing. The system has been broken for a long time, and finally the British public give a damn, myself included. I’ve been completely apolitical for years, believing that they were all useless tossers and not worth my time. After the whole Derek Draper thing, I found this website and now know that the useless tossers are also thieving tossers as well, that have been ripping off my hard earned money for years. I work stupid hours to get my wage in, they take damn near a quarter of it before it even gets to me, yet for some reason they think I owe them everything from a bath plug to a duck island, despite the fact that they earn a basic salary of TWICE what I earn!
I don’t want an election now, I want everyone of those currently in the house to be put before a jury of US (NOT their peers!), and judged. Only those deemed suitable to remain in power get to continue to be MPs, the remainder should be hounded and charged as they would see US hounded and charged for tax evasion.
The system is rotten to the core: If you had a tree at home that was rotten like the HOC is you’d cut it down and burn it, not prop it up with piles of cash. There needs to be a wholesale revolution and it needs to start soon…
Anonymous
I seem unable to get down to 25% of salary when I add up the following
Corporation Tax 22%
Employers NI 12%
Employee NI 12%
Income Tax 25%
and VAT 15%
oh and inflation.
Which reduce the purchasing power of you salary.
we need a political enama flush the fucking lot out and start from scratch !
The Met Fraud Squad are currently being Kettled in by those senoir officers at the Met who are simply nu Labour Placemen.
Yes. I would also reccomend watching the common purpose video- Brian Gerrish, ex submarine commander RN.
Get North Korea to drop a low yield nuclear bomb on parliament during question time. We would then put sanctions on them and refuse to sell them Mars bars for a year or so. During this time we the public would have a re-distribution of wealth and assets.
Please explain what does ‘kettled’ mean??
Nell – ‘kettling’ is the stupid tactic employed by the Met to deal with demonstrators, where they pen them in a small area and refuse to allow people to leave, even for calls of nature.
Hence the idea that the Fraud Squad is being ‘kettled’ by their NuLabour bosses, ’cause if they weren’t they’d be lifting Jacqui and the rest of the Hoons very soon.
Who is this “Scarlett MccGwire” who has been providing (absurdly expensive) medja training to high-ranking Labour MPs?
What was her involvement with Haringey Council after the death of Peter Connolly?
What is her connection, if any, to Common Purpose?
Oh dear. Never mind. How sad!
NNNNNNNNOOOOOooooo – how will Blighty cope without their erudition, their commitment, grace, enthusiasm (err… that’s enough).
Erm…..I’m willing to try…
But the point is many people in Macclesfield and Congleton are going to say these MP’s are amazing. That they have done wonderful things. That the communities are blessed by their presence.
Who are we to judge?
Bye bye…..
Good riddance. That’s saved the taxpayer a few grand a year.
Are they paying any back? – or do they think by resigning they can keep it all?
I do hope they’re wrong!!
I think a Proceeds of Crime Act hearing is needed….
A few restraints on first, second and third homes and a Court hearing to decide how much they have fleeced off the taxpayer
Starting with Tessa Jowel whos home was partly purchesed by proceeds of crime if Im not mistaken
Justa because an Italian givesa unasked fora £350 000 does not mean there isa crime inolved!
Good point Nell – it’s your and my money when all is said and done – but at least their replacements will be a bit more cost-effective.
Did they claim expenses for those hats?
No: only for those faces.
Good riddance to the troughing scum – the payment of rent to a family trust on a property already purchased with taxpayer cash was truly indefensible.
Awful people. Let’s see a lot more heads rolling please…
Is it just me, or are we seeing a bit of a pattern here?
Tory MP’s do the bad thing, Cameron phones them, they step down.
Labour MP’s do the bad thing, no-one phones them, everything carries on as normal.
Oh and, did you see: Nadine is back, just like she never went away.
Oh, and Lib-Dem MP’s do the bad thing: no-one cares..
Panorama have just given Harman a saintly halo by allowing her to pontificate on the currant “scandal” without mentioning that she has claimed £10 k of expenses for “media” training. The UK political class, that includes parliament, BBC, the newspapers (with some exceptions eg, daily telegraph) need to be cleared out. The worst culprits are Labour , they are the governing party for heavens sake. The electorate will I believe tell them to ” four cough” for good.
a very good observation that can be explained by the fact that gordon brown is a spineless character with no political capital or strength left whatsoever.
brown is part of the problem and therefore the problem cannot be solved until brown has been kicked out.
FUCK OFF BROWN YOU FUCKING USELESS FUCKING C’UNT!
They want to be on her good side for when she introduces her Jobs for the Girls Equality Bill.
Exactly Furious and I expect exactly the same thing will happen to Darling over his lies about his expenses.
He’ll try to hang on of course (he is a Labour MP, after all) so he will have to be forced out, the sleazy fcuker.
I urge peole to go to Madine Dotties blog as it is utterly hilarious.
Maybe Gordon Brown is, contrary to the agreed narrative, a tactical genius. He suffers letting David Cameron seem oh so strict by disciplining Conservative MPs and himself seem weak by not taking similar action BUT then the BBC has the excuse to concentrate on the erring Tories and so take the spotlight off of Labour MPs – The Conservatives must have been more seriously guilty as they are being punished, Labour MPs must be OK as no action is being taken against them.
Good riddance is not enough. How can we get the money back?
Can you FOI the expenses for McBride and Jonathan Ross?
Awful people gone…but what about our illustrious Home Sec and the back room scam – on par with the Wintertons.
why don;t they take Cameron I want a general election with them. He is no Saint, in fact he is a regular Ar.. Ho.. Like most Tories all mouth and no action – God help us if we ever have another Tory Government – it is time to get rid of these wannabees, could of beens and has beens. Denis for Speaker – at least you will get honesty not a load of old Etonian Tripe. What the hell do most of these tories know about REAL people, you know the ones – those who work for their living – pay their taxes – talk about handouts,
Denis who?
Idiots like this one not only voted in this scum of a Govt, he thinks we should have more of the same! Some people really do have a death wish. NuLaobur has been totally out of its depth, esp financially, since Day 1. Thanks to voters like this, GB is on its knees
The Tories understand money, that’s why they tend to have a bit themselves. Maggie had to rescue the UK from the last Labour fiasco; now Cameron will have to do it all over again after Gordon’s ferkup. Let’s just pray he’s up to the job. I fear it’s gone too far already
Do you mean the Etonian tripe of the present speaker (soon to be ex)?
you want another 5 years of this shite ? get real i’d rather live under sadam
Absolutely agree. In the scale of disgusting behaviour, venality and pure greed, these two troughers are well ahead of the game. The fact that they have also walked away scot free just adds insult to our injury. Politicians can spout all they like about “reform” but until we, their masters, have the ability to sanction such obvious theft of public money, nothing much will change. In particular, the restoration of trust they keep banging on about will never happen.
JULIE KIRKBRIDE SAYS SHE WILL NEVER RESIGN
It certainly does not seem to be because of John Lyon that they are going.
About time he re-paid his entire salary and made a public admission that he really is a pointless waste of public money.
There really should be a lot more attention given to situations like his.
“All porked out” just about sums it up for this most pompous of prats. And there’s a fair amount of competition in Westminster.
What about the fees office led by a conniver at 120,000 plus a year and encouraging troughers to get away with it.
Hosepipe in that stable too.
Where are the suicides? We were promised suicides.
Yeah! I’m going to switch to another channel if we don’t get some fun soon!
Constantly Furious – I only found Guido’s Blog at Easter-time.
And since then I have had the most immense fun, learnt so much about this decaying government system that I so abhorr but did not quite understand.
It has helped me explore and question more about the press, BBC, Joey of Sky, the Telegraph and it’s owners, The Guardian, the Times— ad infinitum.
The scandal is shocking/amusing, the constantly rolling information is provoking – the exposure of Gordon and his syncophants is enlightening.
Keep it coming!!
Yes, and what happened to the two MPs having an affair, who shared a hotel room and BOTH claimed it on expenses? We want to know!
There’s a word for people that fuck and make money out of it.
At least an honest whore and john don’t charge the taxpayer for it.
yeah! I’ve already got an expenses chit filled out for a wreath. Just need a name, any suggestions?
Yes! ‘The Unknown Soldier’ – The body of a WW1 unknown soldier who died in the trenches was used, at the tomb of the Unknown Soldier in London to exemplify everything that is Honorable and Great about us – How they gave even their lives for us and this great country of ours.!!
This Labour Government??? – What do you have to say about that ??? — when your MP’s claim even their wreaths of Remembrance from us the taxpayers; the descendants of those WW1 and WW2 heroes.????
Do you know in my Fen village – in WW1 – in the years 1915-1917 , every man between the age of 19 and 39 died ???!! And most have No Known Grave.!
Well Labour – What honorable people you are !!!!!!!!
@nell 10.06pm
Labour couldn’t give a shit about soldiers then or now (unless they get embarrassed as in the case of the Gurkhas).
For socialists, WW1 was a capitalist/imperialist war and only served the purpose of raising ‘class consciousness’ among the proletariat – therefore, the more ordinary people died, the better for their purposes.
There is no emotional engagement by socialists like Balls at a Remembrance Day service, it is just part of their political responsibilities – so why not expense it in the same way as a taxi fare?
the final insult to our brave dead scum that dont give a fuck about anyone but themselves we should honour our military by letting them execute these fat thieving shithouses !
I’m on suicide watch tonight. If anything happens I’ll let you know. Don’t hold your breath.
could we not assist in them ?
There’ll be no suicides ‘cos John Lewis don’t do a home suicide kit.
Don’t put ideas into the MPs’ heads. If they took a trip to a euthanasia clinic in Switzerland, they’d want to claim expenses for it.
i’d gladly pay for as many one way tickets to switzerland myself !
i’d gladly pay for as many one way tickets to switzerland myself ! we will get a bulk discount for 647 bookings.
What they really should have said is ‘We are leaving Westminster to spend more time with our gold platted pensions, and double leaving pay off, while the plebs will be paying for it all in their taxes.’
spending more time with theor families ???? How can that be since theve been employing them on a full time basis they must have spent a lot of time with them already !
After a few months the families say – ‘Go away we never liked you in the first place’
spend more cash with their piglets you mean !
arise lord and lady trougherton
Troughton
Troughton
With your snout in a trough
You will never trough alone
(Nadine Dorries is a fan of this club)
Are these two thieves going to pay back the monies they have stolen form the Taxpayers. And what about the Zanu-Labours money grabbing Mr and Mrs teams the vile Keens and the equality vile Balls.
I hope all the parasites that are stepping down don’t get any resettlement money when they leve Westminster, have they not had enough money form the Taxpayer!
They will do!
The party that promises to introduce retrospective and punitive action against all existing MP’s might be on to a vote winner.
“…retrospective and punitive action … “: that is EXACTLY what I need to hear. Pay it back, then go to jail.
I have learnt that an MP can get 50% or 100% of a year’s wages as a resettlement package. Now that is a fucking large wodge of cash, and these 2 fuckers are potentially going to walk away with £135K.
We need a set of working gallows at Westminster and I would be prepared to pull the lever on these thieving MP swine for £65K a year without expenses.
But you can be absolutely sure they won’t repay. It’s all talk and headlines on there repayment issue but it will simply drift away and be quietly forgotten. The Police should be called in immediately but, of course, it won’t happen.
“£65 without expenses”, you mean you will not claim for the blisters on your hands caused by excessive lever pulling?!!!
i see the petition’s at no10 uk gov have been seriously NOBBLED one only has 5000+ signitures and the main one which took me 15 attemps to regester has a mere 63,000 which is staggering as it had 59,000 on it two weeks ago! one blogger told me that a pettion the other week regestered 16,000 per day .whats going on!
Why has it taken them so long?! Dreadful sanctimonious pair. What they did to continue troughing was morally bankrupt, although sadly not downright criminal. At least it means that even that arrogant puffball recognises he has no chance of being Speaker.
Have they been reported to the police?
What’s the point ?
Most, if not all Chief Constables aspire to the “top” job at Scotland Yard .. and as a result are “reluctant” (read bottle-less) to allow their Forces to investigate in any meaningful way ..
What’s needed is a drastic, root & branch de-politicisation of the entire UK Police Force ..
With those demonstrating that .. true to the oath they swore on appointment in the “Office of Constable” to perform their Duty, without “fear or favour” … Those are the kind of people who should be promoted to senior rank ..
Perhaps we might then see an effective & efficient Policing in this country … I won’t be holding my breath …. Grrrrr…
OK next job investigate the police, their fiddling expenses. A lot of Met police are given a credit card which they think is some sort of perk for the fucking job.
NO PROSECUTIONS ! THERE WILL BE FUCKING RIOT’S IF NOT!
Good point!
Every one of their crimes must be reported to the Police for it to be on the books, along with a crime number.
We need more maverick detectives like the fictional John Rebus
Well there’s your first job,mate
Find out how these crooks are getting away with it
There will be some action next week:
http://faustiesblog.blogspot.com/2009/05/citizens-arrest-mps-targeted_2305.html
Please do your bit.
There sems to be a waft in the air of Proportional Representation (as a means of using a different system to keep the same groupings in power.)
I have not heard how this system will “let in” independant MPs. It seems that only the party faithful will get in. “Plus ca change, plus c’est la meme chose”
It will depend on what system gets chosen. MMP like they use in NZ is quite good. Parties tend not to completely screw the population over like here because they would get annihilated at the next election. You also get to vote for your electorate MP as well as the party so if your MP is a goodun but you dont really support his/her party you can vote for them personally but give your party vote to another group. It’s the party vote that decides on the proportion of MPs each party ends up with. Some of the MPs we got in in NZ under the system are not the sort of person you would expect in government – which tends to be a good thing!
Can someone tell me why first past the post is wrong?
It results in dictatorship. The present government has a commons majority, but was not voted for by even 1 out of 3 of those who bothered to vote – or 1 out of 4 of all voters.
*in a bad French accent*
Not now Cato !
Because it is straightforward; because it secures a clear-cut result; because it has been in use in this Country for a very long time; because it minimises opportunities for fiddling: so, obviously, it is in need of ‘reform’.
It secures clear cut results like Tony Blair’s 180 majority despite LAbour getting 1 000 000 less votes than John Major did in 1992.
First past the post is wrong for a Labour Party which knows that without proportional representation it’s going to be decimated.
(Number of MPs reduced by a factor of ten)
PR is right for the Party that must not be named, because whilst it may get no seats on first past the post, it will probably get a reasonable number on PR.
PR may leave us with no party in overall control after the GE and thus make it impossible for the Government to rescue the economy, Parliament, the Constitution etc. etc.
Which has, of course, been a remarkable success recently.
Why is decisiveness seen as better than representative? First past the post is elected tyranny.
PR will give the Liberals more power – the party that loves the Lisbon Treaty.
Your move.
It’s still the least worst option, but we need a radical overhaul of the constituency boundaries. Currently it takes almost 1/3 more votes to elect a Tory than it does to elect a Labour MP – hence you got the ludicrously huge majorities of Blair’s parliaments in spite of the votes, esp the last time, been much closer than was apparent.
At the last election, the Tories won a majority of the votes in ENGLAND by quite a margin.
but are still very outnumbered, esp given the silly number of Scottish seats at Westminster – some of those representing very few votes, comparativley speaking
Proportional Representation, whilst fine in theory, has many drawbacks in practice, not least that it gives even more power to political parties than FPTP. In the EU elections, you can only vote for a party, then the top 1/2/3 may get in according to the % of votes cast for the party. It’s very unsatisfactory, esp for anyone wanting to vote for an individual
Holyrood was brought in to deal with the Scottish over representation in Westminster.First Past The Post still has the effect that constituencies just about up to Birmingham have the say in who the government is going to be.
you can bet that anything labour come up with will be a desparate attempt to try and elect mp’s who are about to be booted out otherwise why change it now? these bastards know they are history and desperation has set in to cling on to at least a few seats
Those of us who can rememberthe Lib-Lab pact the last example of which enabled “Oily Jim” Callaghan to cling to power in 1977, can see a problem with the current PR proposals. Given that Labour are likely to be slaughtered at the next GE, the current crop of of proposed constitutional reforms can be seen as Labour’s last hope of retaining power.
Be careful be very careful. We could end up with a left-wing pro-european dictatorship under Brown and Clegg forever.
Give us a GE, then lets look at the constitution, the part about allowing Scottish MPs the vote on All-English laws needs urgent attention.
Let’s just pull England out of the UK and EU!
West Lothian problem solved immediately!
Bullshit. The NZ system is completely fucked. We end up with an even bigger system of lobby fodder than Britain. Hard left nutjobs slip in on the list without anybody voting for them and we are only now starting to shake of the feminist-lesbian gulag experiment that the beast clark forced upon us. The NZ system was based on the german one which the brits forced on them to stop them ever having effective government again.
If you think these troughing bastards don’t give a shit what you think now.. Just try getting unelected list members to give a shit.
Can’t believe what you lot did to Win Peters!
Eh ?
We dint do Spanish.
Am I bovvered ?
Baby bye bye (bye baby baby bye bye)
Baby bye bye (bye baby baby bye bye)
Baby bye bye (bye baby baby bye bye)
“pass the baton to a younger person”
Their children no doubt when they inherit the ill gotten gains of mum and dad.
what was that about “wealth trickling down the generations”
2
Well ‘Old’ – ‘wealth trickling down’ – Has it reached you yet ?
I’m a grandparent raising a disabled grandchild and it hasn’t reach me yet.
I’m not holding my breath – this government is too busy working out creative ways – to get money out of our taxes into their pockets – they don’t have time for us!!!!
No it has’nt reached me either. I blame my mum and dad wasting their lives working, instead of standing for Parliament.
Thank God they didn’t ‘Old’.
My Grandparents in WW1 went to war- ended up with ‘No Known Grave’ and Grandma toiled away in the Woolwich Arsenel – so poisoned by the stuff they put in the shells that her hair turned yellow.
In WW2 I had parents and uncles at DDay – Dunkirk- in a Wellingon Bomber and with Monty in the desert and one of my aunts in the WAAF’s.
I’m proud of what my ancestors did – will the descendents of this Labour lot feel the same – I
I don’t think so!!!!!!!
Our parents and grandparents fought to protect this country from the enemy without.
The difference is now that the enemy is within.
Sorry ‘Old’ but that makes me feel sad!!
You’d rather your life’s toils ended up in the clutches of the State, rather than your children? Has the State’s shenanigans over the past few decades impressed you so much?
Good riddance to the vile Wintertons. Now, when is Gordon Brown going to start dealing with all the greedy, thieving scum in his party?
It’s all one way at the moment. Cameron is getting rid of the crap but Brown is hiding away terrified to ditch any of them. One day he says Hazel Blear’s behaviour is “totally unacceptable”, the next day he backpedals completely.
This is a serious issue in which Cameron is showing principled, firm leadership while Brown proves once again what a weak, incompetent, dishonest coward he is.
Gordon can’t. Nearly all his cabinet are involved – and they are the only one’s he can trust to support him. He’s bought them off by promoting them to ministerial salaries ,not to mention OTT expenses- (Balls, Cooper, Smith, Harman, Darling, Miliband,Hoon, Mandelson, Watson etc – Would you employ them at the Minimum Wage!!???)
If he sacks them he is isolated. The Blairites will come and get him. And even the Blairites can’t win the next election. Although they are telling themselves they can as they psyche themselves up for a coup.
What an absolute load of horse manure they are!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Exactly my point at #22, above.
A bit of a gap is appearing in between the two parties’ behaviour.
Cameron is taking action, Gordon’s still hiding under the bed, trembling.
If i were a turkey and xmas was approaching thats what i’d do!
Substitute Gordon for turkey and a GE for xmas. Quelle surprise
impressed by cameron,
er, hold on, dave is as thick as thieves with these fraudsters.
dave is still making an unnecessary interest payment claim of 1700 pounds per month.
until david cameron stops making that false claim upon the public purse he is in no position to lecture others on the subject of keeping good and honest public accounts.
right now, dave cameron is just a fucking benefit cheat.
a millionaire housing benefit claimant is preaching to others about false claims.
what a cheeky thieving c’unt cameron is.
He’s amongst good company.
Oh yes.
And Gordon is prudence.
They are all guilty, but as in most conspiracy cases, they all have a different alibi
“Thick as Thieves”, or more likely just plain “THICK!”
And the msm are spinning it that the tories must be worse since their mp’s are standing down and labours arn’t.
Seeing as the money is banked, documents filled and no doubt admissible as evidence, they might be going but that’s not the same as forgotten. Lets hope the Peelers decide to open up an investigation and look closely at all cases of truffle sniffing in the trough of plenty. What odds on them not getting an en suite at ‘er Maj’s pleasure
The writing is well and truly on the wall for the Tory unspeakables – there will be even more “retirements” in the next few days/weeks. This all adds to Nulabour looking more and more in denial. The Dithering Leader just cannot seem to do anything albeit his choices are very stark – keep your head down hope it goes away and just get seen as a “do nothing” premier or be a “real man” and get rid of all his troughers a la Cameron and be left without any MP’s – difficult choice!! His best course is to go for an election and let the people do his dirty work but he won’t do that, will he?
Some of sleazy thief Margaret Moran MP’s closest allies in Luton (muslim extremists) are coming under pressure from the locals:
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1187165/Nine-arrested-masked-mobs-march-Muslim-extremists-turns-violent.html
Moran will be able to rely on some world class experts in postal voting at the next election.Bet she gets back in.
Bet she doesn’t!!!!!!!!
agree with 30, this lot are adept at fixing postal ballots, that’s why Labour pushed postal ballots.
it’s not democracy that’s important, its the right result in their eyes that matters.
I’m thinking it might look a mite suspicious when polls will show a Tory landslide, and Labour win by 45 seats.
Suspicious or not, they would have won and we have another 5 years of these fuckers.
It’s all about ends not means.
Thats what we mean by doing “whatever it takes”
Strip the thieving Huhne of his knighthood.
Good fucking riddance to both of the sanctimonious twats !
Vive la revolution !!!
Start a petition to the Queen
Guido,
What a kindly fellow you are, using that inoffensive photo of the Wintertons.
These are a tad more offensive.
And I must be one of the 8.
Great Photos and have put you on my favs thingy.
Been here for about 6 months and must say am loving it.
Generally very nice people, les Belges.
On those american cop shows, there was always the storyline about the long service cop caught with his hands in the till just before retirement. He then gets kicked out of the force without any pension rights.
Why not do the same for our MPs?
because it’s JUST BAD LUCK OLD BOY! they all piss in the same pot! or kick one they all limp! or even better they all eat from the same trough !
Can we move on please …. I mean for gods sake my thieving scumbag MP (Frank Doran, Lab: Aberdeen) can’t get a decent mention because of all the other thieving scumbags clogging up the media with their own revelations.
When will it be my turn to hear about my very own trougher and his partner Joan bloody Ruddock. I simply cannot bear the waiting anymore and I demand some airtime please.
please, wait in the queue, your turn will come, it’s the British way to do things…..
I’m afraid queuing was outlawed under the prevention of terrorism act.
Aaah New Labour.
How we used to laugh and sing.
From NDs blog ” No Prime Minister has ever had the political courage to award MPs an appropriate level of pay commensurate with their experience, qualifications and position; as recommended by the SSRB, year after year…”
experience. in what exactly? none required other than sucking up to your local party.
qualifications. None required, no minimum entry
Position. Troughing hoon fucking over the country at every opportunity.
So commensurate pay? go figure…
I’m a tad fed up with these people thinking they deserve to be rewarded financially at say a hospital consultant level. High intelligence is a pre-requisite for a career in medicine, 5 years at university followed by 10-12 years training before gaining a consultant post, frequent life or death decisions, lots of moving around and short term contracts until a senior level has been reached. The skills of a highly trained surgeon or radiologist are a wonder to behold.
For the likes of that Moran woman from Luton, or Michael Martin, or John Prescott to think themselves the equal of such professionals is a damned cheek.
All I can say Georgie Girl is that I am jolly glad none of this lot went in to medicine.
We’d still be into leaches and grubby little men asking for bribes before they attempted a ‘cure’ that hadn’t a hope in hell of succeeding.
Too true Nell. MPs = quacks selling snake oil.
Grubby little men asking for bribes to give you better medical attention translates into Private medicine.
Grubby little men asking for bribes to give you better medical attention translates into Private Medicine.
Apart from anything else, dollar bills in brown envelopes is much cheaper, and there is no pretence.
There is never a shortage of applicants for any vacancy in any constituency. They know the pay and conditions when they apply, and it seems that they only discover the scams after taking their seats. £65,000 per annum is plenty.
Yep, the public should decide on their MPs pay when they vote.
Imagine a voting slip like this….
[]A Trougher(£100,000) Zanu-LabLibCon
[]Y St-Eel (£32,000) Independent
That would be the same SSRB that said:
“…there is little or no difficulty in recruiting sufficient suitable candidates to stand for election. There does not appear to be a problem of retention. We heard no evidence to suggest that MPs are leaving the Commons because of inadequate pay.”
See more here.
When it comes to relieving the humble man in the street of his pennies, they have still got a lot to learn from me.
Would that it were but pennies!
Guido
Why have the Met not yet even interviewed, let alone arrested, any of the MPs where we have all seen there is clear evidence of potential criminal wrongdoing among certian of them ? It has been 2 weeks. Or are they planning a Kevin Maxwell style 5am dawn raid on the 4th June at half a dozen properties? I somehow doubt it. Please ask Sir Paul fro clarification on behalf of we peasants. Any policeman reading this blog, ignore the bile and search your heart and conscience, do what is right to be done. Get that notebook out.
….. and what exactly have they done for the public and their constituents all this time?????
They’ve set a fine exampl;e to the rest of the troughers.
Scum.
New flat screen TV advertised tonight – Panasonic 65″ for only £7999 – - Every Labour MP is going to be claiming one of these on their expenses.
£7999 ?
Bloody hell.
D’ya reckon I can trade in my 10 year old Mondeo and kick start the economy?
There sure is if you can claim parliamentary expenses. Are you an MP?
Now come on Nell.
If I was an MP would I be driving a 10 year old Mondeo ?
My brother in law has a dodgy Vauxhall ( y reg ). Does that count?
62″?
One would need to get a bigger flat to be able to watch that from far enough away.
Dr Feelgood – 65″ flat screen TV and an apartment big enough to accomnodate the screen-
Well of course that is possible if you are an mp.
Theiving scumbag twats. Wish it was 1789 and Paris. No”standing down at the next election” – these were the kind of Huhnes Robespierre had for breakfast. Allons enfants de la Patrie
We’re British. We don’t do public lynchings. We do “public disquiet” – fold arms and frown at them. Much more deadly. See Andrew Mackay for details.
WE damn well should behead the rogues and stick their heads on pikes. Tower bridge would do. Think of the increase in the tourist trade.
Trafalgar square would do as an execution site.
Tower hill no longer available due to a memorial for all our merchant navy dead – dying for our freedom and liberty whilst bastards like the Wintertons milk the public.
Off with their heads!!
Have they no shame.
Sure, they’ve done some pretty disgraceful things, but they haven’t committed murder, rape or high treason (so far as we know).
Let’s keep it in proportion.
‘Sure, they’ve done some pretty disgraceful things, but they haven’t committed murder, rape or high treason (so far as we know).’
They are knaves.
Quite agree Engineer. They are only greedy and in some cases fraudulent and those have never been hanging offences. I think some of the contributors to this blog should calm down and think a little bit more before coming out with such over the top comments.
Let the troughers lose their seats and then try and find a real job.
Why have we seen no few Labour members sacked by Gordon Brown? Does he go along with what Smith, Hoon, Darling, Blairs, Moran et al have done or is he just too frightened to take any action? They may fight back!
Agree.
Mind you, wouldn’t want tumbrills travelling on these roads.
New Labour spending plans? Pah.
it may not seem possable but the filth in brussels are worse than this sack of shite we have here let’s not stop here lets go for europe ‘then the house of lords ,quango’s and local councillors all are troughing at our expence
The fucker is wearing a top hat just to taunt us.
Sorry didn’t think it was taunting – just thought it was stupid!!!
Those hats have to be that big. They’d never accomodate all the expenses forms under flat caps.
Well those hats sure aren’t accommodating brains are they!!
No, the Scarlet Pimpernel brought them over here so that their descendants could go into Parliament 200 years later.
I’ve worked with a husband and wife team, and it can get quite toxic, believe me.
Right so they stand down, keep all the profits, AND get a gold plated parliamentary payoff and pension each. Oh, what-a-fucking-result…..! Woo fucking hoo.
I say burn the thieving fuckers while they sleep.
The trouble is, Snotgobbler and his team of spin-spunkers are quite happy to sit back and let the tories make the headlines. After all, it now looks as though day after day another tory trougher is being found out and sacked: ergo all tory MPs are thieving trough-snafflers while labour is whiter than white!
Never understimate how cynical Broon and co are about voters. I guarantee one of the spin miesters will have said something along the lines of…don’t worry…public has a short memory…sit back..relax..let the tories take the flack. All the punters will remember is tories being sacked for moats, duck houses and long, thrusting, battery operated black leather anal probes. (ok, I made the last one up)
Call me Dull needs to grow some balls – if only – and start asking why there have not been a few more sackings among Zanulabour’s merry band of thieves.
God in heaven the country needs some inspirational political leaders right now. They all seem so wet you could shoot mallard off their backs.
The Beeboids are having a fucking field day with this. The Mallards are actually queuing up to get blown away.
‘Sit back – relax- let the tories take the flack ‘
Yes! Labour is saying that.
You only have to look at Alan Johnson today and his article in the Times about PR.
They think this Scandal over expenses is all but finished and they can now bring in ‘spoilers’ ie PR to derail the public’s attention.
Come on Folks! Are we that naive???!!!
Two things. First, the revelations have not yet ceased, and Labour are in for more pain yet, methinks. Second, the electorate is wise to Liebore diversionary tactics now, and will see through them. Labour are deepening their own grave.
The Brown Broadcasting Corporation will keep going as long as you can.
And what difference will it make come the GE? Labour are toast, and even the Bullshit Broadcasting Corporation can’t save them.
Sorry Terry – I don’t think so . I’m an oldie with a limited life span.
But I know the BBC has allowed itself to become prostituted as the voice of criminal Labour.
As a consequence the BBC is going to find itself in the years ahead unable to justify its position as ‘the neutral voice of the nation.’
Frankly – the BBC has shot its own bolt.
Dave- time to abolish the License Fee.
Time to make these BBC people earn their living in the real world!!!!!!!
Nell, we agree.
BBC. Not worth the money Alistair Darling’s printing.
How long before Gordon and Darling declare chocolate money to be legal tender? I’ll give them 6 months.
If you need a break from the troughing, but want to maintain the steam pressure ……………
http://www.spearhead.com/mhb.html
You are right Mr Sniffer.
We do need leaders. Leaders with a clear vision for the future.
Rumour has it Brown will recall Blunkett.
Ah. You do the jokes.
Balls for Chancellor , Mndrlson for the F
Nearly right Nell.
We need a Chancellor with balls and Mandelson to fff off back to Hartlepool or wherever it was that thought he was better than a blimmin monkey.
I hit the keys here too soon-
I meant to say here that Gordon was , after the next re-shuffle going to appoint :
Balls as Chancellor
Mandelson as Foreign Office Minister
Beckett as …..??
Blunkett as .??
Hoon…who he will keep for his loyalty
Watson — who needs to stay becaise he needs his food tokens……..
I suspect McBride is hiding in Watsons 2/3 homes —waiting for Brown to re-invent….
Gordon is dropping Milipede…Smith ….Darling(Dangerous) .
I still don’t know – Who is the current Minister for Defence – We don’t hear about him – why is he hiding??????
Who is supporting our brave men and women on the front line if not the Defence Minister ?????????????
Oh come on Nell,
It was buff Hoon when this whole disgrace started and it has now landed in the lap of MP Hutton.
Oh heck.
Replying to my own post.
I have a grandchild,22 months old.
She says tar for her drink, tar for her food.
What are the chances she is saying tar to New Labour, when she knows better,in 2010?
On Toady this morning, the Beeb journo was spinning it that “yesterday the Telegraph were complaining about MPs avoiding tax, and now the Telegraph are complaining about Labour MPs getting accountancy advice so they pay their tax in full”.
The sheer mendacity of this is staggering.
It is Labour cabinet ministers who have:
a) undertaken widespread and repeated flipping to avoid CGT
b) been using public funds to help them with tax avoidance/minimisation advice.
c) burdened us with not only some of the highest tax rates in the world, but also with a tax code of staggering complexity
The BBC is trying to paint the Tories as villains in this saga, when
1) all this has happened under a Labour government
2) the largest frauds have been perpetrated by Labour MPs and ministers
3) the Tories have been the fastest and hardest in sacking/resigning miscreants
It is said that a people get the government they deserve. If voters fall for this shit at the local, Euro and General elections – perhaps we deserve to be royally fucked over for another 5 years by the disgusting, discredited, corrupt and downright evil Labour government.
The Tories ARE villians.
Remember they are the ones who took the milk off school children so there!
One can only hope the Tories are aware of this and have a counter strategy. If they do not, we’re doomed.
Labour’s spin machine is first class, especially given the fact that it fails to deliver on any of its pleges.
Who are these? Tory troughers or Labour leeches? Fucking Huhnes. Dave/Broon should make them pay it back.
For heaven’s sake, Labour troughers are far worse – they just get less MSM coverage.
“…..battery operated black leather anal probes. (ok, I made the last one up)”
Yeah, we believe you.
I mean the very fact you know about such contraptions…..
stripped of knighthood no pension no severence pay all monies to be paid back bring in the tax collector
JAIL JAIL JAIL JAIL JAIL JAIL JAIL JAIL JAIL JAIL JAIL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and more jail.
Wonder if any of them have tried to swing the wedding costs past the Fees Office?
“OK Sir, Madam, we’ll stump up for the cake and the catering as it’s food, but we can’t swing the flowers or the honeymoon suite.”
look at the Kirkbride/Mackay wedding reception at the Commons.
she must have been fucking leathered to have married that ugly little munchkin !
It’s like the fall of the Roman Empire.
How will our great senate of the people survive the loss of all these colossuses of our national legislature?
‘…si fractus illabatur orbis
Impavidum ferient ruinae.’
(I feel better for getting that off my chest!)
Was that Phlemish?
Illegitimus non carborundum.
Ego semper in excreta sed alter variat
That’s fine.
You go rule.
It’s great to see that Cameron is putting pressure on thieving arrogant scum like the Wintertons, Stee, and Mackay and forcing them to quit.
What a complete contrast with useless Gordon Brown who is just burying himself in the bunker and hoping it all goes away.
Cameron seems to have what it takes to be a leader while Brown is clearly just a fraud.
While its better than Broons effort it’s still way short of whats required. Can you think of another type of employment where you can get caught fiddling your expenses and say to your boss
‘ok, hands up, I did it……..but I’m not going now, I’ll hang around for a while, get paid and go at a time of my choosing’
Yes that’s true but Julie Kirkbride must go as well.
If Andrew Mackay is guilty so is she!!l
Come on Dave you must bite the bullet.
Kirkbride says those who oppose her are `sad losers` (what arrogance!) and that Dave will never move against her. Why is Dave dithering? Kirkbride is the worst fraudster of the lot, salary and home for brother, expenses for friends, equipment for relatives business, and much more. The joint fraud amounts to millions over the past 12 years. In addition, if they both go, salaries, redundancies, handouts, expenses etc over the next 12 months amount jointly to a minimum of £780,000 all in, then the pensions!
dross sale
Cameron backed Kilbride.
He is heir to Blair and quite unfair.
Kilbride should go as well.
she certainly should. go where? prison.
So, three digital cameras and a camcorder on exes for Jacqui Smith. Hmmm. I wonder what exactly is going on in that second home of hers when she’s in Redditch.
Don’t ask. If her Register of Member’s Interests included income from companies with Soho addresses, nobody would be at all surprised.
I would.
It wasn’t so long ago she was trying to imprison all their clientel.
Mind you, I did always wonder about the clause in zanu’s porn laws which state that porn so wild as its possession would have us imprisoned for three years, is perfectly acceptable if you actually took part in it.
Now we know.
Sack the lot of these SOB’s and for goodness sake, will somebody from the next party in power reverse all labours sodding orwellian laws.
“During times of universal deceit, telling the truth becomes a revolutionary act.”
She’s just topping up the nation’s woeful number of CCTV’s with a few extra brought on expenses.
Who blimmin cares?
It’s got to be swinging. She is middle-aged, fat, ugly and dull – and her husband likes to watch the c*ck; they fit the profile for the ‘lifestyle’.
No doubt there is a website somewhere with real-life Hot Home Secretary group action.
Watch I Wouldn’t Touch Her With A 60 Foot Barge Pole But Some Poor Fucker Would on Television X.
79. Got the money back off them did he? No fucking use giving them a slap on the wrists. Wish he wouldn’t be such a weak-willed hoon like Broon.
I seem to recall from my consitutional and criminal history that any citizen has the right to lawfully arrest a suspected criminal for an arrestable offence provided it can be proved an arrestable has actually been committed by the suspect so arrested. You should all check with Patricia Scotland before you attempt this. Forward some names and the circumstances under which you attempt to act- that is get some clearance from the Attorney General. Who knows what that decent lady may advise you.
Youre joking-arent you??
What do you do with them once you have arrested them?
Give them to the Police who will let them go and arrest you for false imprisonment, causing an affray, impersonating a police officer, breach of the peace, and suspicion of terrorist activities.
Call me cynical.
Let’s be honest. If you were to do this to an ordinary MP, never mind a minister, you’d be arrested under the anti-terrorism legislation, held without any rights for a maximum period, quite probably tortured in all but name….
Now I think about it, weren’t these all introduced by Labour??? Perhaps they do think strategically afterall…
They shouldn’t be allowed to keep a penny. We need to see some poetic justice for those troughers found guilty.
They should be asset stripped. Their houses, their cars, their pensions, their savings, everything. It should be liquidated and donated to a good cause in the area most effected by their troughing.
They should be electronically tagged, have their passports confiscated, be barred from working in the public sector again and then given a house/flat on a randomly selected council estate. They can start over like so many others have to because of their mismanagement of the country.
That should make them think twice before putting their hands in till.
Don’t forget the DNA and detention without trial.
Stop dreaming nothing will happen to these MP’s,not until we can get some real law back into this country, with real policemen, real judges and real CPS not Liebours placemen and I would include a real BBC,sorry Iv’e just joined you in dreaming.
I hoped with elected heads of police, elected judges and a BBC funded by subscription we could go some way to reversing the momentum away from banana republic UK, but we elected MPs so maybe I need a rethink?
Well I think that they look absolutely splendid! What a shame that these two marvellous constituency MP’s feel the need to deprive us of their experience and hard work because of hurtful comments. Wonderful couple! They just makes me proud to be British. It’s the envy that I can’t bear. They probably know that you would only buy cigarettes, go to bingo or the bookies, drink yourselves to death or buy drugs if they didn’t use your money.
Kirkbride does that as well!
JULIE KIRKBRIDE NEWSFLASH: SISTER KAREN KIRKBRIDE FROM DORSET IS PAID £12,000 EXPENSES. THIS FRAUD IS MASSIVE, and over 12 YEARS.
BROTHER, SISTER, WHO ELSE? WHAT IS CAMERON MESSING ABOUT AT?
CALL IN THE POLICE
Tip Off For Interested Parties: Mummy in Ciorencester is also on expenses.
like i said before FUCKIG INBREDS !
When the new Parliament assembles, will be like first day at dear old, bloody old school? No one knows anyone else. You could just show up and make out you’re the member for Bakpakistan.
The first real anti-Muslim riots take place in Luton – unreported by the state broadcaster.
The Archbishops attack the ‘B’ ‘N’ ‘P’, claiming they are not really a legitimate party.
The ‘B’ ‘N’ ‘P’ website comes under it’s most serious and sustained DoS attack yet, making it unreachable for over a full day.
Cameron deftly uses Sleazegate as an excuse to purge the party of the remains of the cummudgeonly old-guard.
Alan Johnson bids to replace Brown.
North Korea comes to the fore as a useful enemy.
Just your average bank holiday the, even including the weather.
Are the Mods and Rockers still fighting at Brighton?
Wouldn’t know – Im in Hove.
Same here! No fights since 1966
You must mean 1066
That’s my neck of the woods (Des Turner MP – no word from him yet) and no… everyone’s been home waiting on the final Glasto line-up info.
We’ve got Celia Barlow who unfortunately didn’t claim second home allowance. It looks like another 5 years of Zanulabour here now.
It’s a bit greeny/independent/dreamcatchery/insensey/Cath Kidston buggies round here as it is so who knows how it will go. Should be more interesting than usual, anyway.
Dump her anyway.
Tony Blair could always apologise for those Bank holiday fisticuffs in the 60′s
Decisions decisions. What to do what to do.?
Invade Spain?
Declare war on North Korea.?
Send a fact finding commission to Luton, (But somebody said the MP is a Moron)
Fuck it.
I’ll have a meeting.
We need receipts though.
You forgot Spain “invades” Gibraltar.
http://www.express.co.uk/posts/view/102828/Return-of-the-Armada-as-Spain-invades-Gibraltar
Shit, yeah. Add that to the list.
Gibralter today, Hove tomorrow
Yeah, never Hove today.
You were’nt in last time i passed
I was probably out the back, weeding my Hydrangeas.
Weeding? I wee on mine. Its what gives them the colour.
“Each week Alastair Campbell and Go Fourth will email you a list of simple things you can do to help secure a Labour Fourth Term
So join thousands of members online, get campaigning ideas from the experts, plus daily ways to get involved and help make a difference.”
“The experts…” at gofourth.co.uk. Go forth.
But if delivering leaflets probably best not to knock on the door. Just through the letter box then, get out of there!
Go forth and hand your self over to the court of public opinion. Thought as much , scared you might lose. Labour are good at sending others to die in Iraq and Afghanistan but no courage or moral backbone of their own. A name call of the governent says it all, Smith, Hoon, Straw, Burnell, etc and of course Brown. Cowards and thieves to a man…Go forth and male sure that they are exposed for the dogs they are.
go fuck yourselves go forth.
The funnt thing is, Labour may well go fourth, after the Conservatives, The LibDems and the SNP.
£120,000.
Thats 10 years wages for me. I can’t afford shit. They’ve STOLEN this money. And thats it, no criminal investigation, no repayment of the money, no jail time, nothing. Nothing. If you, me, anyone else had done this we would be in the local papers as thieves up before the Judge.
In our local paper, people who have cheated the benefits system of amounts like £20,000 are send down for a couple of years usually.
It’s a double standard and NO ONE will change this. They are all cowards and thieves. Fuck them all.
Common Criminals thats what they are.
Why do you think we banned handguns from you plebs.
“A well armed politically connected police being necessary to the security of the Labour party, the right of the People to be disarmed shall not be infringed.”
Zanu-Labour Party Bill of Rights (Year Zero).
You forgot about the rifles.
“I think we had better buy a new camera on expenses, dear, none of the ones we have bought on expenses so far take nice photos of us, they make us look like a couple of crooks.”
RICHARD DOES ME ARSE LOOK BIG IN THIS ONE’S LENS???
Utter bunch of Hoons.
That is all I can say.
Can’t you reap them, please?
You may have to force yourself to look grim.
Can we have an extra caption competition tomorrow Guido for the photo of the be-hatted Wintertons?
I see that Old Holborn is planning a mass arrest on 1st June at 9am at the House of Thieves.
loans pretend me
I seen that Old Holborn on the telly over the weekend.
Had a great big barrel of gunpowder, he did.
They are an absolute disgrace. Completely shameless. Not a penny will be paid back. It’s the smugness and delusional sense of entitlement thats so insufferable.
I am a useless fraud but my Grandfather was Winston Churchill you know..
£120,000?
I wouldn’t get into bed for that.
Thats true. But one of you subjects would have got jail time for it.
i wouldn’t get in bed with your wife for that !
Macclesfield and Congleton up for grabs Safe seats which means they arent really anymore…
Cameron will line up a couple of muslims for these or hang on – will it be an all wimmin short list.
Don’t underestimate the people of Cheshire. They’ll choose who they want.
Sorry 1381
I don’t care whether they are men, women, muslims, hindus or any combination of the aforesaid – As long as they are legally British – What matters is are they going to be HONEST – and are they going to SERVE their constituents??
Personally I think some of those rather Honorable Gurkhas ought to be thinking about standing for Parliament.
Nell,
“Let the believers not make friends with infidels in preference to the faithful—he that does this has nothing to hope for from God—except in self-defense” Koran (3:28)
Because of the above verse I would be wary of any actual practising muslim as an MP. Religious apartheid is always the result.
nell please show me which well run muslim democracy you were looking at and i’llagree !
nell please show me which well run muslim democracy you were looking at and i’ll agree with you !
LMAO – a muslim MP in Macclesfield or Congleton?
No chance – though wimmin might be electable if they’re white, and vaguely posh…
plenty of wag’s in the area maybe one of them will stand init
should be renamed congletrough and trufflefield
should be renamed congletrough and trufflefield !
it should be renamed congletrough and trufflefield !

MANIFESTO:
1 Hang all MPs
2 Go down pub-Get bladdered
3 Resign-call Immediate General Election
4 Retire-Hopefully with small pension from grateful populace
how about a two week public holiday with all pubs forced to stay open 24/7 all bar tabs to be payed by public purse !
Evil filth. I want to whip them to death. I promise I would make the thieving trash suffer as much as I could. Dirty lying thieving trash.
I think it is legal now to start stabbing MPs – they are filth and deserve to die. Also, I think it should be legal to throw acid in the faces of the children of MPs. We all know that the scum will get £400,000 from taxpayers in free homes and fake jobs over the term of one parliament.
Kill MPs and kill their children — They are all filth. They are all liars. They are all criminals. They are all perverts. They are all trash. They are all scum. They are all evil.
Kill MPs and their filthy evil children.
Mmmm… probably going a bit further than even I would like to see. Maybe spare the children death, but put them to work in a champage cork factory.
or even champagne
You forgot to dig up their ancestors and trample their bones into dust.
(Just an impartial observation)
Remember the crucifix, wooden stake and mallet, garlic and an AK47 full of silver bullets if you do, though.
He’s only joking, wouldn’t hurt a fly!
Can we raise their homes and sow the grounds with salt?
They’ve already “raised” their homes, at our expense!
If you mean “raze” et al ..YES!
JIM DEE FOR PM !
JIM DEE FOR PM ! get’s my vote!
Here is a draft of the Announcement that will be Broadcast at 2200hrs on June 4th, 2009.
The Glorious and Beloved Leader, the Great HelmsPerson, the Star in all our Skies, has today won a magnificent victory, and has swept all before him, having been voted for by 67,000 million of His Loyal and Loving Servants in the Socialist Paradise.
This has exploded a huge earthquake under the plans of all reactionaries against His all knowing and generous regime. Bonkers and Bent Bankers can come out of hiding, as can all MPs, and again start troughing.
The Glorious Leader, Herr Comrade Kim McStalinBrownStainovich, announces that 67,000 million tractors will be produced in honour of this victory, and 67,000 million additional satellites will be launched to carry His words to the Universe.
Finally, be aware that Nothing Is His Fault.
That is all – and quite sufficient.
May 67,000 million tractors blossom!

incestuous relationships of the expenses kind
Is this chap handy as an electrician as well ?
It does add up. Unfortunately for us, all too clearly
I’ve just seen tonight’s. The filth of it all. Sewer pipe suckers, that’s all.
Presumably Harriet Harperson’s Bill on equality will get rid of this nepotistic nonsense since all prospective employees should go though a fair and open interview process. Am I right?
Yes!
Not really. Just kidding.
Nice to see todays story about Mr Balls
A spokesman for Mr Balls last night said: “The claim for a wreath was submitted in error by a staff member. As soon as it was brought to Ed’s attention by the fees office he immediately reimbursed the staff member personally.” He said the political books were purchased as a leaving gift for a politics student who had been doing voluntary work.
Personally if someone had voluntarily doing some work for me any decent person would have used they own money to purchase a £30 leaving prezzie (heck its less than money people get for a Saturday job).
Did we also pay the legal fees for advice re the legality of this wheeze and the cost of setting the trust up? Anyway they know that I would only have spent it on cigs, bingo, the bookies, binge boozing or food and housing. Did me a favour really, bless them.
Worth noting that as ‘punishment’ for breaking the rules, they were allowed six months to sort it out – that was the decision of the committee chaired by Sir George Young – a potential candidate for the position of Speaker.
Another candidate is John Bercow who has maxed out his expenses claims for some years. They still don’t get it, do they?
When I follow this blog I am so very happy that I took the decision back in 1971 to leave the UK for good………………..I could see the loss of privacy, the corruption beginning all around me . Now I live in Costa Rica, Central America and just hope that the people of England, in particular, take control back by throwing out, prosecuting and jailing all criminal M.P’s that have pulled the country down to a level, where living in Costa Rica, I can feel that I made the right decision all those years ago to leave.
Sadly several members of my family still live in England…and I just hope that they “get it” now, and rise up against these disgusting persons who have prostituted the British Constitution.
Not that I’m an expert – just from bits I’ve picked up along the way – but isn’t Costa Rica pretty much controlled by the Yanks?
Just like Tony?
Be careful–be very careful–what you wish for. Any new lot of MPs could be as bad or even worse. Unless someone grasps this once in a lifetime–or longer—chance to clear out not just the greedy bastards but the whole rotten system.
Starting with a big reduction in the 646 bleeders in the H of C.
Throne?
So the words ‘bog standard’ mean nothing then? My whole world is going down the pan!
Our cystern of government is shite but thankfully we have the blogroll.
I’m a bit short of work at the moment if anyone wants to employ me. I can provide references.

I think he meant that the metric seat didn’t fit his imperial arse.
Today is a good day.I felt “left” out that my STALINIST MP Meg Munn, hadn’t been exposed,by the Telegraph, and so many others had.Now she’s been “outed”.Bloody cheek, lives like a Capitalist, but an “under the bed” RED.And she looks so ugly,I can’t believe the Labour printers, can print her party leaflets, without wearing blindfolds.
paying back expenses isn’t good enough, shouldn’t there be a surcharge?
Double death duty for close relatives?
So is Prescott’s arse metric or Imperial?
I thought that it was now an offence to have an imperial arse and that all arses have to be metric by law.
Maybe he needed a seat for each cheek.
If he had a seat for each cheek wouldn’t he shit on the floor ?
Matt, better he shits on the floor, than on us…oh hang on….
Whose going to check? Any volunteers? Aaaaaarrgggghhhhh!
the fat bastard prescot has two arseholes thats why he needs two seats !
How weak Cameron is.
How without merit he is to be PM.
Just sitting there on a ticket of “I am not Gordon” & doing NOTHING to earn the office is just super weak.
He should be in full stride, destroying every utternace that comes out of McMentals mouth, as well as immediately decapitating troughers like the Wintertons.
How many months ago did Guido expose the Winertons?
And Cameron did exactly nothing.
No, its UKIP for me, DC has finally blown it.
He really has earned the “Heir to Blair” crown.
I’ll never forgive him for his contempt at Stuart Wheeler. – A large donator to conservatives btw.
UKIP are an even bigger, sleazier bunch of thieving hoons than Labour.
Yawn.
Disagree. Cameron is re-shaping the Conservatives to be economically ‘dry’, while at the same time socially liberal. He doesn’t need to go around screaming his head off if things are moving his way. – we can leave that to Gordon.
Get a grip on reality – if you think that UKIP is a serious alternative to Labour at ANY election then you are probably looking at another 5 years of Labour domination in Westminster and Europe and as you seem to epouse a euro-scepticism, an even worse integration with Europe. At least Cameron will hold a referendum on Lisbon which is more than Labour and Brown will do despite their 2005 Manifesto pledge .
There is only ONE way to rid the country of the Labour pariah and that is to vote for Cameron and the Conservatives. Voting UKIP is a complete waste of a vote in any election
This is not just benefit scrounging. This is clever, upper-class, large-scale Tory patrician benefit scrounging.
Do you feel, as I do, that the Fees Office has been conspiring with some MPs to bilk the taxpayer?
Read this.
http://www.publications.parliament.uk/pa/cm200203/cmselect/cmstnprv/435/43503.htm
The Fees Office, The Speaker, The Leader of the House, (Hariddan Harman) and MPs all knew about the censure of an MP for Abuse of ACA in 2002, and they all carried right on doing the same, after this guy was effectively booted out.
That has to be an Olympic Gold for hypocrisy.
The Keens are great, they’ve got us paying a mortgage on a flat more than it’s worth, class.
And shouldn’t MPs salaries be reduced in an attempt to recover the excess already paid out?

For those relying on the police.
I’m anti hunting, but seeing the filth hammering the countryside alliance was the finest example of politicised policing i’ve ever seen in this land. It was apparent that they were instructed to go in hard. They will do whatever the government of the day tell them to.
ANSWER TO ANON.
I am happy to say that Costa Rica is not controlled by the Yanks…………which is why so many have fled here so that they can live in freedom.
There is also a quite large ex-pat British community here as well……..also people who want to live in a pleasant climate with reasonable living expenses and freedom from CCTV’s……………and the European Union influence on what was, once, a wonderful country.
have you checked out the amount of razor wire/ great spirals of barbed wire and security gates surrounding the average house in San Jose? Why do you think the residents feel the need for such protection in paradise?
When is Gordon Brown going to take action against all the crooks amongst his ministers and MPs?
What is he frightened of?
Flipping – Gordon flipped his second home
Gardner – Gordon Has a gardner at his sdcond home
Kitchen – Gordon has had a new kitchen fitted at both his second homes
Cleaner – Gordon has had one a both his second homes
Sky Sports – With in the spirit of the rules? a breach of the rules?
He would have to fire himself!!!!!
Please let something major happen soon but Broon is keeping his head down and hoping it will all go away. We the taxpayers must make sure it does not.
From tonight’s Telegraph:
The disclosure of his role was made amid growing concern at HMRC over the expense claims – and tax affairs – of MPs. Revenue officials have begun a fresh inquiry into whether MPs should have paid tax on “excessive” expenses claims.
The investigation, which follows a series of disclosures in this newspaper, could lead to the MPs having to pay millions of pounds in tax.

Back of the net!
and meanwhile the criminals at the County Council level are continuing their subversion of the country by a) removing key services from our most vulnerable elderly like Meals on Wheels and free Day Centres – these elderly people who are known to be suffering chronic lonelyness and poverty – who have PAID ALL THEIR LIVES FOR THESE SERVICES are being defrauded of the services they have paid for ALL THEIR LIVES by low life chief executives, shipped in my NuLabour and the Tories into Counties they do NOT CARE ANYTHING ABOUT where they are dismantling the things PEOPLE REALLY CARE ABOUT.
Who gave them legitamacy? NOBODY !
Who pays their massive over inflated saleries WE DO
Who asked us if we want these low life scum to destroy our Counties NOBODY !!!!!
When is someone going to investigate them??????????
Not only that they are teaching prisoners in prisons lto lead beyond democracy? Ehhhh????? PRISONERS LEAD BEYOND DEMOCRACY??????? Who have them permission to do this training? Who are they reporting to???? WHich of the major parties are funding this ????? ALL OF THEM !!!!!!!
The Police need to seriously investigate this abuse of power. NOW !!! Why aren’t they????? ARe the senior policemen all INvoved??>? SUrely they must be some honet policemen involved???
Sounds like Common Purpose – leading beyond…
They will keep all the Gay outreach workers, their enormous CEO salaries and their like and cut essential services in order to cause an outcry and support an increase in taxation.
It’s the game they play.
Just wait until Harperson’s ‘Elimination of White Males’ Act is on the statute book. That will require a whole new raft of compliance officers in every town and county hall in the country. Employing such people will be a statutory requirement, feeding pensioners an optional extra.
As you say Local Government is also in need of a kick up the arse council officials run the show and councillors enjoy the bunfights and perks. A lot of the officials are lefty toads so even a Conservative run council follows New Lab Directives with a smile.
The Cleansing of Britain is going to be a massive all-consuming task but the next government must do it or be undermined at every turn.
Just tried the beeeee en peeeeeeee link. Google says oops no can do!
Has the Broon Terror begun?
Just watched Churchills hardest decision on TV about the sinking of the French fleet after their WW2 capitulation to prevent it falling into the hands of the Germans. I’d never heard of this before and from the facts it would seem to be absolutely the right decision. Adds grist to the mill of why the French have it in for us.
We seem to be diluting the strength of this country, its values and culture and it’s sad to think that in our current state we could never even conceive to respond as we did to our previous challenges as a nation. This goverment is rapidly emasculating us.
But did they say what happened next? See Gibraltar historians for the truth about the French fleet retribution.

I have only just seen this and placed it on my blog.
Johnson raised his head above the bunker. A significant move, well maybe. Cameron responds instantly. My politico is better reformed than yours. Is this the start of a reform race.
Interesting Cameron thought a covering instant response, his advisors will expect some rearguard action from zanu-nl to try and take back some initative, they didn’t bother to respond to Brown’s yet another fucking grand plan initiative, but they did with Johnson.
A calculated move from Johnson, and if he gets the chance an indication of his future strategy, they really are in shitstreet when they offer pr.
Cameron thinks, fuck me, is Brown really going after June elections. No, no fucking way, but no harm covering Johnson anyway, don’t want him getting too much momentum.
Cameron is gaining confidence by the day, confident enough to risk holding on to Kilbride. A lousy result for Cameron will be used as an excuse to be rid of more dead rotten wood.
For zanu-nl, either dump Brown after the June elections, or rip themselves apart. They haven’t landed a glove on Cameron, despite all the efforts of the bbc. The public have, but where else can they go. Like obi one, cameron your our only hope.
I agree with @anonymous, get rid of the fucking lot and start again, but it aint going to happen that way
Keeping Kilbride has nothing to do with confidence , its to do with honour and decency.
If he keeps Kilbride he is tarred with her muck- deservedly.
Scum ball as she is.
Keeping Kilbride shows he only stands by his mates and no matter how dishonest they are, they stay.
Thats not leadership and its shows him as dishonourable.
Kilbride will show him up for what he is. His Hazel Blears and even worse – she at least wrote a cheque.
Lets see what happens. The longer she stays the worse my view of Dave.
Dave`s dithering is incredible and inexplicable. He should just look at the facts: two homes claimed for, a free home for brother Ian Kirkbride, a salary for Ian Kirkbride, and a paid directorship for Horatio age 9. There is more to come, and its not just about money! Is Dave frightened of MacKay?
It will be interesting to see. But why would Cameron want to keep Kirkbride. The woman is apalling, the image bad, the politics non-existent, and she`s just a straightforward nasty piece of work. It`s a bad reflection on Dave that he would want to keep someone like Kirkbride even if she was not a fraudster. If he does not act it will come back to haunt him.
ps. the latest news is that Ian Kirkbride has been spending thousands on electrical and computer goods on her expenses account, that the nanny Naomi Dent has said she was a secretary not a nanny, and Kirkbride says those who oppose her are `sad losers`. Comment please, Dave.
has he explained his Mock Gothic beams yet ?
That will be fun………
Easy…they match his mock-gothic wife!!!!!
he said he was lonely being the only plank in town
he said he was lonely being the only plank in town fat troughing bastard !
as I keep saying in my blog, the public want all those who ripped us off brought to justice and prosecuted. We don’t want them to slope off into comfortable retirement, or in the case of labour ministers carry on as if nothing has happened. We want our political pond cleared of all the scum regardless which party they are, or whose friends they are. The same laws should apply to us all
The conservative party always have a knack of a 6th sense it seems and i am quite pleased that they have decided to put some precise shelling into the lab/Lib bunker of ideas.
The early mumerings of daves plan were i think in talk 4 months ago on real local government (so johnson and milliband have xeroxed then) , it all looked a bit waffley then , but he has clearly been giving it some thought over the months . It will probebly need some more tweeking , but he seems to have the basics in a good formation and not too much information overload , but responsive enough to pollenate the media stamens and give the public a scent of the reforming ideas.
in many ways i agree with him and he is quite clear on where the dysfunctionality lies (caused and enacted by Labour) , and perhaps he can be a modern wyatt tyler , but lets be honest with what this government has come out with recently Joe Stalin would appear a moderate.
i dont think he has forgotten the basics , one person one vote , how to enable opposition , recording of debates and mps vote and stances, the ability to process justice and law , why transparency helps .
the re establishment of parliment as respectful and consultative authority and not a place for “legislation for cash” or runways for that matter.
getting the executive functioning rather than over expensed , self interested growth industry , and putting the reasonable checks on influence and lobby interests coupled with a desire to explain and discern the common good and so deliniate into functions that work , respond and are intelligeable and accountable both in idea and function .
As for the Wintertons the expenses have given them bad headlines , i think Nicholas has been a serving army officer (Hussars I think, hence his stance on gurkahs), and a quick trawl through hansard informs that he has often put awkward questions to the goverment and has been a bit of firebrand /maverick often to his own party. I think his wife once delivered one of the early question time attacks on gordon that had the house in uproar .
I visited Macclesflield some time ago and they thought he was a good constituancey MP , of a more genteel type , wouldnt put in him in the same catagory as Hoon , expensive yes , but did the job , disciplined sort of man with little toleration for poor debate , and very pro passonate even about the UK but not EU UK.
but alas they join the exodus on the expenses uproar .
on a side note panorama program was on expenses , real eye opener , hadnt realised they could get office donations from lobby groups !!
hope Guido saw Hain clip , and it was revealed that john mann grassed conway up . still think margret moran clip is the best one , just no remorse in it at all . worth a watch if you missed it .
But for all Dave’s good intentions and sensible ideas he will face a subversive and determined Labour client state to oppose him, misrepresent him and engage in smearing.
The socialist revolution ushered in by New Labour, many aspects of which were unelected, unaccountable, had no mandate and were not part of the manifesto (worthy of the early years of Ho Chi Minh) has failed miserably. But its deluded and wilful proponents are still embedded in quangos, local government, the civil service, education and the BBC, now fighting a rearguard action to protect a government which is fascist by tendency and communist by disguise.
If the people vote for Dave’s party to replace the fascist communist hegemony and to introduce the required change the only part of the hegemony which will be booted out is the New Labour government. He will still be faced with all the other fascist communists hooked in like a giant parasitic tapeworm to the infrastructure of the country and they will oppose and attack him from Day One – as they did with Boris Johnson.
They don’t and won’t accept democracy or the will of the people unless it represents their own twisted ideology so they will use any means to justify the end they perceive as “right”.
England never had the kind of “tested to destruction” socialist regimes imposed on Eastern Europe so the socialist adherents here have never been absolutely discredited in the same way.
In addition to constitutional reform Dave must look specifically at reform in the civil service, education and the BBC to excise the fascist communist element, destroy the weapon of Political Correctness once and for all and to introduce a rigidly apolitical culture with criminal penalties for those seeking to introduce political ideology into local government services, schools and the BBC.
We need to get our country back from the wannabe Pol Pots.

Anybody seen Mandy recently? Don’t tell me he may have to resign .. again?
Looks like the Conservative party is now getting around to investigating Julie Kirkbride, they announced last night.
Funny the way her brother is an IT consultant, living in her house, caring for children who are in school 112 miles away all week and buying IT equipment on the taxpayer.
He bought, amongst other items, five memory cards, four internet routers and three external hard drives.
Hardly what a small office would need all in one go, though easy to see why the equipment might be useful to someone doing IT work for a number of other clients.
The whole thing stinks to high heaven, but Julie is still trying to tell us that it’s all above board; when she’s not putting the phone down over the more probing questions, that is.
She’s looking very dodgy.
Agreed – she’ll have to stand down and the sooner she grasps the reality of the situation the better for her and the Conservatives. I think this calls for another telephone call from Dave and then her stepping down by tonight. It;s unlikely that she would retain her Bromsgrove seat at a general election given the level of opposition in her constituency
She ;ppks dodgy and she is dodgy. She is not capable of grtasping reality, she sees herself as a victim and her opponents as `sad losers`. What arrogance! A thoroghly nasty piece of work.
Kirkbride?
MacKay but mummy was called Kirkbride and then changed. What about Horatio?
Its all very confusing.
“Fraud is soaring during the recession and must be made a police priority, the senior officer heading the national drive against economic crime said.
The number of reported frauds rose by 64 per cent during the past financial year, with people from all walks of life falling victim.
Mike Bowron, Commissioner of City of London Police, said that law enforcement agencies could no longer ignore so-called “white-collar crime”. Mr Bowron told The Times: “The notion is that it’s a gentleman’s crime, that the chances of getting caught are slim and, if you are caught, you’ll get two weeks in Ford open prison. Those days are gone. It’s not white-collar crime and I won’t have that phrase mentioned in my force. It is organised crime. ”

Brother of MP – shopping questioned
The brother of Tory MP Julie Kirkbride bought around £1,000 of electrical equipment using her parliamentary office expense account, it has emerged.
Among the items purchased by Ian Kirkbride was a digital camera, even though his sister had bought another camera on expenses the previous year, reported the Daily Telegraph.
Ms Kirkbride is the wife of Andrew MacKay, who was sacked as David Cameron’s aide after it emerged he had claimed second home expenses of £23,000 a year on his London address despite not having a property in his Bracknell constituency.
He later announced he would step down as an MP at the next election.
The couple were living at an address in Ms Kirkbride’s Bromsgrove constituency which was listed as her second home and his main residence for expenses purposes. However, Ms Kirkbride has resisted pressure to follow her husband’s lead and stand down as she insists she has done nothing wrong.
Responding to the new allegations, she said: “My brother had the time to source things on the internet at the cheapest price. All the things that were bought were entirely in relation to my parliamentary duties.”
Meanwhile, several members of the shadow cabinet used their office expenses to pay more than £150,000 to their local party associations, the Telegraph reported.
Alan Duncan paid £42,000 to the Rutland and Melton Conservative Association, while Michael Gove paid £27,000 to the Surrey Heath Conservative Association.
Liam Fox also pays £9,000 a year to the Woodspring Conservative Association in Bristol, while Andrew Mitchell is said to have paid Sutton Coldfield Conservative Association an annual sum of around £8,000 for the last four years.
The MPs have justified the amounts as paying for costs such as rent, office space and telephone services provided by the associations.

A former pop star and I’m A Celebrity contestant has said he is “85% on” to stand as an MP – because of the current expenses row. David Van Day is considering standing as an MP against Nadine Dorries.
Mr Van Day admitted to making mistakes in his past – reportedly blowing £100,000 on cocaine and cheating on his lover Thereza Bazar – but said that made him a better person.
He said: “I have a bit of a mucky past but all that has made me a better person – I have been tested and failed sometimes, but I have been tested and it has made me a better person.”

Recommend all MP,s and Members of the House of Lords should be required to surrender their passports immediately, to be returned after they have been cleared by a special tribunal set up to examine and clear ALL expenses claimed during the past ten years. Tribunal will have powers to order/exact repayment and/or pass miscreants forward to criminal trials.

No bias there then.
TheWinterton troughers are going to a retirement funded by a combination of pensions and fleecing the taxpayers. Why or why did we have to wait until now to get shut of them when it has been well known for years what they were up to. When a person retires from a job or profession they have worked in for years it is hoped they leave with respect and their heads held high knowing they have done a good job. The Wintertons are slinking away in disgrace as part of the scandal that has seen them fleecing the taxpayer for years. However, I suspect that their level of pride and morality is non existant and like Fred Goodwin will probably enjoy a well funded retirement with two fingers raised to the British public who payed for everything.
Somehow the thought of some very focused retrospective legislation is beginning to look quite attractive…
Well done Dave for getting rid. Maybe he should withdraw the whip now in the interim so disassociate the party further from these despicable hoons.
The Parliamentary Standards Commission is a bit like the UN, all talk no action, no teeth! This Winterton have a family trust not a charitable trust, you will be lucky to get a kind look.
The Wintertons typify everything about the ols-style Conservatives which David Cameron is trying to change. They are a disgrace and should be made to repay all the money which they have stolen from my people-I HAVE SPOKEN!
