The more I read on this site, the more I think how obtuse and thick most of the posters are. Do you really not see that our blogger is a raving right wing Tory who will twist everything to the advantage of his God i.e. the leader of the Tory party whoever it happens to be at the time. the thought of Cameron (who has never held a position needing a decision of any importance) in charge of our defence, hospitals, schools, police fills me with dread. The thought of Osborne being in charge of the Treasury is enough to make those with hard earned money quake intheir shoes. Its like being asked to accept a rat in a hen house. He will hit the middle and working classes with Tory taxes like VAT (don't forget it was the Tories who increased VAT from 8% to 17.5%). a tax that hits the lower paid but the rich can pay without any problem. He will reduce income tax for his rich friends whilst piling on the taxes on things we use such as fuel, petrol, diesel, clothing etc. etc. He will cut funds to the NHS, Schools (unless public where he will give tax concessions), the police, fire Service - you name it he will cut it. Voters have very short memories. Waits of 2 years or more for hospital treatment, schools falling to pieces, school equipment, even books, out of date and in very short supply. Nurse, teachers, police, firefighters etc. all on very low pay which this government have increased more than any government in History. Old age pensioners have had their pensions increased more under this Government than under any tory one in history. Remember the £300 (this year was £400 + another £60) heating allowance. This is non taxable. The Tories want to include it into the pension and tax it!! Inflation is at its lowest for years. It will rocket under the Tories as last time. I remember the 15% interest on my mortgage under Margaret Thatcher and the thousands who went into negative equity and the thousands who lost their homes. Compared to the Tory years those with a mortgage today are considerably better off. Before the brainless start shouting abuse - no I am not a member of the Labour Party just somebody with a long memory and grateful that I and my family can get treatment within weeks and that my younger members have decent school buildings with plenty of modern equipment. We have more teachers today than we have ever had. Elect the Tories and watch teachers losing their jobs when the funds are cut. We have more doctors, nurse and other health professionals than at any time under the Tories - watch the nurses and others being made redundant if the Tries get into power. I can also afford to have my heating on and not be afraid to have a bath, something I could not say under the Tories. BEFORE YOU VOTE - go to your library and read up on the Tory years. do you really want the public school boys who have never been broke in their lives running our country? Do you really want these people who think they are the elite and consider all the rest of you lower class scum only fit to work till you drop for their benefit?
If you do vote Tory do not ever complain when everything I have said happens.

I wonder how long this will survive on this site as it is run by a Tory?

Wiki......Ray Collins (born c.1955) is a British trade unionist who was appointed General Secretary of the Labour Party on 12 June 2008.[1]

Collins was appointed Central Office Manager of the Transport and General Workers' Union in 1984 and held essentially the same post until 2008, being redesignated Head of Administration in the 1990s and Assistant General Secretary in 1999.

Collins has been a member of the Labour Party for over thirty years and has campaigned for the party in every General Election since 1970. He is TGWU representative on the Labour Party National Policy Forum and a member of Labour's National Constitutional Committee.

In December 2007 he was named the 27th most influential LGBT person in British politics by Pink News.[2] He helped steer the TGWU into a merger with Amicus, creating Unite, one of the largest trade unions in the country. Collins took the helm as the party is reportedly close to bankruptcy. In May, Electoral Commission figures showed the party was £17.8 million in debt.[3]

Ray has the credentials to suit the ZanuLiebour Party.....
