Mr C: once again I find myself in agreement.

I think the problem is even wider than you describe.

The problem is not JUST the NeoNazis, it is the political class as a whole. Almost without exception (though there are a few honourable exceptions) they have never done 'real' work - just followed the track of researcher>local authority>parliamentary candidate>parliament>(shadow) minister.

The experience of these clones is entirely within the public sector (councils, parliament) and they are all on the same gravy-train.

Few of them have had to contend with producing results, month after month, in the face of foreign and domestic competition and despite an ever-rising burden of govt interference. They have no idea how business is poised permanently on a knife-edge and how close catastrophe lies.

Until Dave actually presents a different philosophy for his lot, we can be forgiven for expecting much the same from them as from the NeoNazis.

C'mon, Dave - we WANT to believe, but you're not giving us much to believe in. Why not start with a daily attack on some aspect of govt policy? Then work up to hourly? You would not run out of material.

Mr C, this is spot on and you've identified yet another issue on which the Tories could campaign, had they but the inclination and the scrotal fortitude.

So much has gone wrong with the country over the last 12 years that one would think that oppositional campaigning would be a doddle - headlines on every medium every day - but instead the Tories hide behind the sofa waiting for the NeoNazis to lose.

Not enough, Mr Cameron - people need something to vote FOR; otherwise they might just abstain.

So you have to ask: just who represents us, the dissatisfied majority? Apart from the sainted Guido, nobody. Certainly no major political party.

PLEASE, Tories, hear our concerns and CAMPAIGN for them.

Hm. You've given me food for paranoia, Gordon.

Is it possible that the NeoNazi dirty tricks dept made it its business to get something embarrassing on every MSM editor (and especially the Beeboids) to help stiffen their backbones should the saintly GB ever come under attack?

After all, govts do have access to all sorts of inside info, and the division between govt and Party has not been completely clear under this lot.

Just a thought.

It's very encouraging. Almost all lucid and to the point- well expressed, in English. Obviously a concerted attack by Guido's followers?

Against a tide of disgust, only 1 apologist. Silence speaks volumes

Toilets now has 233 comments - he must be ecstatic. Unfortunately about 96% of them are telling him he's a complete hoon - even Labour supporters, many of whom are now ex-Labour supporters. That windowlicker DES is over there, making inane remarks under the name 'Torynettcatcher' - he was recognised because of his terrible spelling & the incomprehensability of his comments. With supporters like him, Labour doesn't need the Torys to oppose them - he's better at destroying their chances than Torys, Limp Dem, BNP & any other party you can think of.
