There were probably a dozen or more officers present when Mr Tomlinson was criminally assaulted by one of their colleagues. Not one of them made any attempt to stop or subsequently apprehend the assailant, nor have any of them reported the crime to the appropriate authorities as every citizen is required to do, an action even more especially incumbent upon police officers.

To abstain is to acquiesce, to acquiesce is to condone, and to condone is to participate. Each of those police officers is complicit in this affair by their attempt to pass by on the other side. They have not passed by, and each one of them is guilty by association. So too is every police officer regarded as guilty, in the mind of the public, while the police present a united front against a wronged citizen.

Officer Quick legged it with his £110k p.a. pension without a thought for Mr Tomlinson. A super-copper? Greatly missed? Hmm . . . . . . .

In a previous life I would often courier extremely sensitive intelligence information to certain destinations around the country. Secret documents are just that! But, Secret is not that highly classified when compared to other categories.

This officer would have known exactly how to carry these documents. This was not an error. This was a deliberate act!

Analogy of New Labour thinking on this and so many other issues: I left some important documents on a chair in my garden. It rained and they were ruined. So I formed a victims support group and we are now lobbying our MPs to get rain banned.
