Wear Your Pinstripes with Pride Tomorrow

Guido is going to be at the Bank of England at midday tomorrow, well not actually at the Bank, more overlooking the Bank.  Having lunch at No. 1 Poultry and will probably be smoking a cigar on the balcony later, twanging his braces and proudly standing in his pinstripes after lunch.  A select few capitalist co-conspirators will be there.  Maybe Guido will see you in the bar.  Guido will be the one shouting “Greed is Good” at the demonstrators below…

Some valiant counter-demonstrators will be taking the battle to the G20 unwashed.  Guido would stay for the riot, but has to see his accountant in the afternoon.

Currently nearly 3m unemployed and 2.7m on incapacity benefit. One third of housholds reliant on state handout. We’re not just there already we are well past. And still the Tories handed over a healthy economy in 1997.

As for interest rates the real rates were actually around 5% (that is nominal rate less inflation). Maybe the Tories cared that savers were still rewarded and pensioners still had money to live on, unlike theis Government who don’t care about either.

You are a dunce Gordon’s Pride. Suggest you enrol for a maths course, and then you might see Labour are shafting you!!

True Galloway_Pride. Capitalism as we know it needs to change. The country has paid a heavy price for the devious cupidity of bankers such as Sir Fred Goodwin.

But Gordon Brown is acting decisively to help hard-working families. Our PM has also strongly condemned the bonus culture in the City and is making tough long-term decisions to create a culture of greater integrity in the financial industry.

The Tories are the party of the bankers – they would do nothing to help hard-pressed families and do nothing to restrain the bankers in future.

Things will get better under Labour – be patient. This is no time for a novice. Our PM has the experience – we can surely trust him.

Harman_Pride, Galloway_Pride, Labour_Pride, Old Socialist – are you all mad? Or clinically incapable of seeing the truth, that ZanuLabour is built upon lies, deceit, social engineering and the rampant destruction of the freedoms and traditions this country is built upon.

You prattle on about ‘hard working families’, ‘the working class’, ‘class war’, ‘scum bankers’ in pure rote fashion – it’s tedious, facile and infantile.

You clearly don’t yet realise the contempt in which Zanulabour are held by the majority of this country. If the Conservatives were any opposition at all, you would be looking at electoral annihilation and the dissolution of the Labour party, instead of merely a generation out of office (note I said office – not power). However, there’s still time for them to find their guts and start to give you all the kicking you so richly deserve.

My fervent hope is that when they get into office, the Conservatives set up a Royal Commission whose one role is to examine _all_ Zanulabour legislation enacted over the 11 years you have been mismanaging the country and repeal everything that is anti-freedom or designed to destroy this country (that’ll be most of it then).

Then, they should put ‘The Plan’ into practice, as well as announcing that all jobs paid for from central funds should be advertised on a single website (which will destroy a large proportion of the Grauniads’ advertising revenue), 95% of all CCTV cameras to be destroyed, all MPs from the previous sitting will be investigated for corruption (and as virtually all of yours will be out of a job, they’ll have no-one ‘inside’ to protect them) with punitive punishments made available and announce that the BBC is to be self-financing within 12 months (one of the reasons we don’t have a ‘Silicon Valley’ here is whenever someone comes up with a website idea, the BBC can steal it and use public money to develop it).

The backlash is going to be visceral – I truly think that with all your meddling over the last 11 years, you’ve managed to point a stake over the heart of Socialism in this country. I think you’ll find that the people of this country are only too willing to push that stake in, slowly twisting it in the process.

which is direct hate in itself!

Laws which detract from the majority view and incriminate in the most roughshod overabused catch all manner. while achieving nothing but discontent and oppression.

Where’s the so called hate laws locking people up for calling others fat, ugly or thick or nasty smokers? the problrm here is that fat ugly and thick people currently do not feature in lefts destructive political agenda, hell the left even tell tell people to get stuffed when it comes to healthcare and adoption rights.

read the polls, the people hate you, except it.

      • 104

It’s not homophobic to use ‘gay’ as an insult, actually.

Before striding in trying to educate, you might get a
        little education yourself.

The dictionary explanation of the term Homophobic is
“: irrational fear of, aversion to, or discrimination against
        homosexuality or homosexuals”
According to the Webster Online Dictionary.

Using the term “gay” as an insult does not imply
irrational fear or aversion simply by its application.
Nor is it discrimination when taken in the context
it was offered since the insult may be as easily
applied to both gay and straight individuals equally.

The best you can say about it, really, is that
it’s rude or ill-mannered. Or maybe
        ‘unpleasant’.

The problem with the leftie PC brigade is
always their abuse of language in an attempt
to justify a social ‘norm’ they would love to
create but that does not, and should not,

“We bit off more than we could chew. They were just Cockney barrow boy spivs. Total thugs,” one protester said, rubbing his bruised skull. “I’ve never seen anyone less amenable to listening to our point of view.”

Another said: “I took on a Texan Swat team at Esso last year and they were angels compared with this lot.” Behind him, on the balcony of the pub opposite the IPE, a bleary-eyed trader, pint in hand, yelled: “Sod off, Swampy.”

Greenpeace had hoped to paralyse oil trading at the exchange in the City near Tower Bridge on the day that the Kyoto Protocol came into force. “The Kyoto Protocol has modest aims to improve the climate and we need huge aims,” a spokesman said.

Protesters conceded that mounting the operation after lunch may not have been the best plan. “The violence was instant,” Jon Beresford, 39, an electrical engineer from Nottingham, said.

“They grabbed us and started kicking and punching. Then when we were on the floor they tried to push huge filing cabinets on top of us to crush us.” When a trader left the building shortly before 2pm, using a security swipe card, a protester dropped some coins on the floor and, as he bent down to pick them up, put his boot in the door to keep it open.

Two minutes later, three Greenpeace vans pulled up and another 30 protesters leapt out and were let in by the others.

They made their way to the trading floor, blowing whistles and sounding fog horns, encountering little resistance from security guards. Rape alarms were tied to helium balloons to float to the ceiling and create noise out of reach. The IPE conducts “open outcry” trading where deals are shouted across the pit. By making so much noise, the protesters hoped to paralyse trading.

But they were set upon by traders, most of whom were under the age of 25. “They were kicking and punching men and women indiscriminately,” a photographer said. “It was really ugly, but Greenpeace did not fight back.”

Mr Beresford said: “They followed the guys into the lobby and kept kicking and punching them there. They literally kicked them on to the pavement.”

Last night Greenpeace said two protesters were in hospital, one with a suspected broken jaw, the other with concussion.

Just one day after the furore over MPs’ expenses, Commons Leader Harriet Harman unveiled changes to the funding of the pension scheme.

Err, no. Capitalism is like evolution for corporates. The good ones survive, the bad ones fail. Then new ones sprout up to fill the gaps. That’s an essential part of the process. Governments and central banks have failed by interfering with interest rates and the money supply, taxing the productive parts of the economy and rescuing banks which should have been left to fail so that better ones could take their business.

Socialism killed 100m in 20C, Capitalism destroys poverty says:

No, you’ve got it wrong – Capitalism has raised more people out of extreme poverty in China and India in the last 30 years than in the whole of human history beforehand. Some estimates make it over 500 million people.

Capitalism is the most freedom enabling system there is – because *everyone* gets to make their own decisions on what is right for them at that time. Every other system has someone else, usually an elite, deciding how that person should be living their life, Capitalism does not. And every other system is not as efficient as Capitalism in doing this, because no other system can possibly take into account all the variables that Capitalism does – not even the most repressive, totalitarian regimes.

So sorry, but Capitalism has not failed – what has been shown to be a failure is political tinkering in this system, and to my great pleasure, a large number of people see that failure of politicians writ large.
