Of course we remember the Tory sleaze. That’s why we booted the Tories out. There is difference between the Tories and Labour. But not the way you try to portray it. Back when the Tories were still in power, every time a Tory MP was caught, they either had the decency to resign, or were sacked. With Labour, they cling on to their posts for dear life, and enjoy the Prime Ministers “full support”. Each and every time we’re asked to “move on”. It’s rare for Labour to take action on their corrupt members. And when they finally do, its usually reversed not too long after. How many times was Peter Mandleson sacked? The little toerag keeps coming back though.

You see, the problem for Labour isn’t that we don’t remember Tory sleaze. We do. We’re just aware that Labour have taken sleaze to new unprecedented heights.

You claim Britain is a more prosperous place today. Really? We’re entering the biggest recession the country has ever seen, with unprecedented high levels of debt. A lot of words come to mind. Prosperity isn’t one of them.

The IMF clearly state that Britain is WORST placed going into this recession. Brown failed to save during the good times, and now we’re forced to borrow money to inject into the economy. Many other countries actually put money aside during the good years, and whilst they are injecting money into their economies, they’re doing it with the money they saved. The British people are far more intelligent than you imagine. And no amount of delusional “pride” in fictitious achievements will fool the electorate into voting Labour again.
