Dear God, what an appalling arsehole Draper is. I’ve never seen anything like those two performances (C4 news and DP). If ever I need reminding just what is is about the lying scumbags who have ruined this country are really like, I’ll just watch those clips on YouTube again.

[Geeky filming rant] Can you put a screen up or something when you’re filming to stop gusts of wind causing the hissing on the mic?

Alternatively, stand in a different position out of the wind. I’d recommend doing some short takes and playing them back to make sure that there isn’t any wind noise where you’re standing.

If you’re not using a separate uni-directional mic, I’d recommend using one to cut out unwanted noise coming from the side. I don’t know what kit you’re using, but a handheld or radio mic with a 60 degree angle might do the trick too. [/geeky filming rant]
