1. Never accepting censorship: your exposure of Dolly’s past was your strong suit, yet you gave it away;

Just had a look at the opening of this blog – talk about starting the way you intended to go.
The first post has somehow been dated before it was actually posted. The second post demonstrates a hatred of Peter Hain which has clearly coloured subsequent actions. The third post predicted that Osama bin Laden was dead or about to be captured (got that wrong then) and the fourh post says that Blair would go on for ever and ever having appointed Alan Milburn as the election co-ordinator, demonstrating that the misunderstanding of the Labour Party was there at the beginning.
Not sure that I have seen much improvement in quality since those early days.

But debt is not money. The Labour party manifesto at the last election did not state that they would ‘Carry on Regardless’, and overspend at the rate of £50 per week per man woman and child in an economic downturn. Indeed, they promised that they would only borrow to invest over the economic cycle

I love the way the lefties have given up on Education. The bottom line is has this parliament been a representative of the people of the UK at its current zeitgeist? Is the Fiscal Stimulus working and has it been approved by the people? On a grave situation such as that we’re in, such a gamble (because that’s what it really is) on other peoples income and in fact that of future generations, is not sanctioned by vote?
If the were any good case for HM to call for UNILATERAL DISSOLUTION OF PARLIAMENT this is it. It would give the next government (from whichever party wins) a clear mandate to sort us out of this mess, by means that were mandated by the electorate.

If I were a random watching DP I would have called it a draw, on subjects I probably wouldn’t have properly understood, I would have said Dolly got his ‘view’ (idiocy) in quickly, early and was straight to the point. Watched you & the awful Draper, Guido…& must confess being surprized at the lousy show you put on. You’re a bit of a Rottweiler in print but you didn’t even use your gums in the confrontation; if one can call it that.
Draper may be unhygienic scum but he was completely unfazed…and controlled the show.

I think the difference is partly because Draper has much more experience of appearing on television. Guido has only appeared a few times in the past and with respect, they generally didn’t go very well. Guido’s biggest strength is his website, whereas Draper doesn’t have a clue what he’s doing on the net. He tries to bully and control people – supine journalists such as Nick Robinson will fall for it, but the Internet community can’t be told what to think by bullies like Dolly.
I had a look over at Donal Blaney’s place, and he thinks we should get Dolly on TV more often, in order to make people even less likely to vote for Labour. I’m inclined to agree.
It depends what you wanted – there was no need for Guido to descend to Dolly’s abysmal level. I thought Guido came across well: quietly-spoken for the most part and too much of ‘a gentleman’ to stick the boot in. Otoh, Draper hanged himself.
