he reasons why Labour gets grass-roots support in Scotland has nothing to do with Scots wanting Brown as PM but due to a primeval fear of the Tories.

A 30 year Labour and union leadcampaign of hate towards the Tories who shut down all those loss-making mines and ship-yards has rather skewed the thinking though. Labour thought they’d successfully poisoned y’all so much that they’d guaranteed a 1000 year Labour Reich in Scotland hence their rush for devolution. So confident were they that you could be relied upon to vote Labopur for ever and ever Amen.

I have to say the look on Jack McConnells face was almost worth voting SNP to see. But in the end I contented myself with simply fleeing south of the border. Scotland is one independence vote away from North Korea. The political race to the bottom in Scotland will be to promise as much non-existent money to as many wasters as possible. In the interests of ‘fairness’and Scottish ‘fair play’you understand.

Hellaceous. No thanks.
