Tim Yeo Flies Back from Another Golf TripCalls for "End to Unneccessary Internal UK Flights"

Serial shagger and Chairman of the Commons Environmental Audit Committee, Tim Yeo, tells GMTV in an interview to be broadcast this weekend that he wants to price internal flights beyond the reach of the poor.
The audacity of the man is priceless. He supplements his income by writing about the world’s golf courses for the FT. Hardly essential is it? Here he is writing about his spur of the moment golf trip to Pine Valley in New Jersey. In Gibraltar another month, next he flys to La Jolla, just north of San Diego, where he “spotted a glamorous lady in sunglasses leaning suggestively against the side of my rented convertible.” Oh, hello…

He flies down to Cuba for a revolutionary round, another round in Chicago, and so on. Presumably this is why he is only restricting domestic rather than international flights, last week he flew to Orange County where he tells us the 18 holes at the El Niguel Country Club were kind to him. “It’s winter back home, and so it’s obviously great to play in sunny conditions,” he said. He can catch the Hypocrite Express to St Andrews…

Maybe if they really wanted to “decontaminate the Labour brand” with business people, they shouldn’t have totally buggered up the economy?

Just a thought.
