Bob Piper is Not a Racist, He is a Fool
Sorry, but Bob Piper was just taking the piss with this image. Guido feels he should show some solidarity with the blogging Labour councillor since almost every day some politically incorrect comment gets Guido accused of misogyny, racism, homophobia, anti-semitism et cetera.
It is not a joke Guido would run, because if you are not left-wing anything you say is likely to get you accused by lumpen-lefties of some ism, which is tiresome if you consider yourself to be a metrosexual-liberal. Humour is cruel, offensive and cringemaking at times, that is why we laugh at it.
Piper made his point, he then took it down as the avalanche of condemnation came down on top of him. That means he must in retrospect think it a mistake, it was chuckle-worthy, but foolishly risky for a politician.
