Seen that Slogan Somewhere Before?

Guido knew he’d seen that slogan somewhere before. The Democrats saw off the Neo-Cons in Washington using the slogan, Steve Hilton clearly has the same idea about using it to see off the Neo-Con in Number 10.

The thing that always struck Guido about Neo-Conservativism was that it wasn’t new or conservative. Conservatives always put the national interest first, Neo-Cons put their ideals first. Conservatives seek to reduce the size of the government, Neo-Cons spend taxes like crazy. Neo-Conservativism strikes Guido as a modern version of old fashioned liberal imperialism…
