Party Time!

Guido is off for the weekend. Will be with the Samizdistas tonight to celebrate 5 years of libertarian blogging (don’t mention the war), London Irish dinner party on Saturday, will sober up for a Black Tie* Port Evening on Sunday, Monday it is the FCS Celebration Twentieth Anniversary Party. Sadly Ed Balls (ex-FCS) has declined his invitation…
It was a good week for Guido, with the filth getting ever closer to charging the sleazemaster. Beat the newswires with Sainsbury’s resignation (thanks to an anonymous phone tipster) Another list said Guido was part of the new online establishment – more important than even Iain Dale. Spookily, the British Library wants to add Guido’s blog to its new digital library, saving it for posterity and Britain’s heritage. Guido is not sure he needs a free back-up at the taxpayers expense, but if it pisses off Miliband…

*Have just checked the invite and it appears Guido got the dress code wrong, it actually says “seventeenth century frock coat”. A stroke of luck – have one of those that still fits…
