Happy Birthday Dave from Google and Guido

Recess Monkey is concerned at the Googlisation of the Tories:

To be fair Google and Cameron do seem to be having a love-in with their birthday greeting.* Staff flow from Google to CCHQ and from CCHQ to Google. Google’s boss Eric Schmidt spoke at the Tory conference (giving the most intellectually stimulating speech). What does that say?

Guido loves Google – they host this blog for free. Gmail and Google Calendar organise Guido’s life. Google knows all and the scale of Google’s capabilities is awesome. If only Google ran the NHS’ disastrous IT project… one for the policy commission Mr Letwin?

*Not really.
