In the interests of accuracy I feel we should point out that although residents of Northern Ireland have the right to join Labour they do not have the right to:
Form CLPs
Choose candidates
Fight elections
Attend conferences
Know the names of fellow members in NI

If it hadn't been for kennedy's nouse in picking up anti tory and anti labour votes when it mattered,this contest would not appear on the radar.

Whoever wins it, will dissappear down the very hole that Paddy Pantsdown spent most of his time as leader trying to get out of.

The only interesting aspects of this race have been the scandal(f*** me-I'll never have to stand there while the Lib Dems crack orange gags again) and Guido's admittedly amusing attempts to manipulate the outcome

James, you are quite right. I imagine a number of LibDems will be attracted to Chris Hughne because he has run his leadership campaign effectively and they would like a bit of that for the party too.

Simon Hughes has just demonstrated that will panic under pressure.

Ahh, the FCS. So, was it you, Guido who went on the rampage with a fire-extinguisher ? And wasn’t it some FCS types who led an all-too-willing Tory conference audience in chants of “String ‘em up, string ‘em up, string ‘em up” during the Home Secretary’s speech ?

Bearing in mind your track record, I would say the Lib Dems were right to refuse you membership. Within months of accepting you, the party would die.
